I am officially pissed off...

I raised my Faith to 20 because I read in the guide that if you talk to that blond b1tch with this specific stat raised up to that point she would give you a Pure Faintstone. So I thought "Why not? Magic DEF AND a Pure in each cycle would be great!"... But, nooooooo. All this wh0re does when I talk to her is pitching her nipples and calling Urbain's name... ffs, I spent around 150.000 souls to get a trivial - for my char build - stat that high and now I won't even get the freakin' item!

Anyone else ever had a similar problem?

Which puts me in a pretty awful position I suppose... thanks for the info man, guess I will have to wait until the next cycle to get my Pure. Btw, where can I get Faintstone Chunks? Are the Lizards in 5 the only source?

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but according to the wiki this problem was fixed in the most recent patch.
Talk to Urbain's female follower in the Nexus (requires 20 Faith). In an old patch, you must have talked to her before learning any miracles from Urbain, but in the most recent patch, you can talk to her at any point.
I ran into the same problem as the op, though. I guess it's not fixed :frown:

I thought maybe killing urbain would make her shut up about him, but she just got mad that I beat up her boyfriend and tried to kill me.

Now that this thread is resurrected I am a little confused, why would you even want a Pure Faintstone if faith is a pointless stat for your character build. Are you just trying to get the trophy? If that is not the reason why not make a faithbuild character that can actually use the weapon you are creating with the faintstone.

P.S. I have received multiple Pure's in one playthrough just from the gecko in Astrea's area and the gecko near the shortcut in 5-2.

Well my SL is 102 atm, guess why I needed those 2 extra SL, yeah for the pure faintstone (trophy). I think it's a bit lame from FROM to force a player to get 20 in faith to be able to get some "bronze" trophy

You don't need to do this to get that trophy, as I said you can get a Pure from the gecko's in 5-2 and 5-3 (I have gotten 3 in one playthrough before). So that was your own fault for thinking that you had to do it that way in order to get that trophy. The Wiki even states that you can get the pure from those geckos, so it's very confusing why everyone thinks that this is the only way to get it.

As mentioned, you could've just farmed for it in 5-2,3. Not just the lizards, but the shamans have a fairly good drop rate as well. Just backtrack from the Collossus archstone and you can kill 2-3 pretty quickly, then evac and repeat. The free one from Urbain's follower is just a bonus for faith based builds, just like the free greystone you get from scirvir just for showing him dbs.
