Well right now I'm using Northern Regalia, and I'm on my first new game + (so i beat the game once)

Thing is, I'm hoping to main this weapon 4eva, so I can actually get some faith and magic points in instead of pouring it into str and dex.... :\

Anyways right now I'm like super close to black tendency (just did mephsitopheles) and since regalia gets stronger depending on which polar opposite you're on, I was wondering if I should make it all the way back to pure white tendency by *groan* killing all the named BP NPCs...

I'd rather not, but are there better bonuses for being in pure white/pure black? I won't be using the friend ring (never have, really... cling/thief 4 meh [unless it's good?]) and doing mephistopheles each time sounds nice imo. I dunno tho.... D:

Northern Regilia is at it's peek at either Pure Black or Pure White CT. No difference.

I have lvl 40 vitility and it keeps me alive for 3-5 hits in NG++. Add Warding and you are good to go. It is worth it forth sure. It's definately saved me plenty.

Oh yeah and only equip Friends Ring if you are a Blue Phantom and you want an extra boost. Only used it once personally didn't notice too much change. You can equip it in either PW or PB character tendancy.

I meant like is it worth it to get to pure white, because right now i'm at pure black. Because if I randomly kill a black phantom who invades, I'd have to kill another innocent dude... but if i get to pure white I can't do mephistopheles each time... hum hum D:

Well if you want Meph every time there are two ways to go about it.

1. If you have cleard avery stage except the Penatrator/ False King, go and kill all harmless NPCs required and then do Meph. Just make sure to buy everything you want from the harmless NPCs befre killing them. Then you can beat the game .

2. Stay pure Black the whole game. This will only work if you are fornunate like me and don't get invaded much.

I just blue phantomed with a guy and got invaded thrice. I am now at neutral...

I'm just gonna stay at pure white then. I'm not fortunante like you T_T

Btw if there was a mod I think we should transform this thread (or hell make another one) that's just for general questions.... :|

Being in black character tendency reduces your health in soul form.

Being in white character tendency increases the damage you do (soul form only?).

Using the friend's ring gives you the bonus damage you'd be doing if you were full white if you aren't in full white but only while you're a blue phantom. If you're already in full white you'll do additional bonus damage.

I like using the friend's ring during boss fights if I'm blue phantoming since the thief's ring is useless for most bosses.

Staying at black is easy since all you have to do if invade some people and kill them. Killing blue phantoms pushes you towards black too.

Staying at white is useful if you want to have an easier time while in soul form.

Well it also has to do with how high my level is. I can only be invaded by people close to my level, but there are very few. :)

Standby a weapon you can swing around with on neutral.

It's a bitch to be stuck in neutral, and cant have enough fire power to bring down people.
