Can't get keel smasher

I've helped maybe twenty people kill the first an second boss now and my world tendency won't go up. The keel smasher is blocked off. I suicide in the nexus to keep my tendency from going black. What gives?

ive had trouble with wt staying white for me as well if its pure white when i log off for the night it is normal when i lo back in the next day

I have two, now. :p BTW, I highly recommend it for NG+. The soul arrow trick didn't work for me in NG+ (maybe I did it wrong). The dragon god pwned me twice when trying that method. Breaking the collapsed columns with the dragon bone smasher and running back and forth and hiding worked first time I tried it in NG+.

Helping other people kill bosses won't raise your own WT. Only killing the NPC black phantom, primeval demon, and the bosses in your world raise your WT.

Yh go online on 2-1 in body form and wait for some invaders at peak times. You should get a few and some of them will probably let you kill them as theyre farming colourless demons souls lol.

If you want you could even get a friend to help you kill them, have them use their fists and constantly do the headbutt stun attack on them.

You'll probably feel like a douche afterwards but it'll work xD

Actually if you use the one rez spell to rez blue phantoms in your world it supposedly has a minor bonus to it.

Follow the advice of others though, do it the surefire way. Go offline, do not go online at all during this, kill armor spider, get pure black, kill bp and primeval, go back to nexus, kill flamelurker, back to nexus, kill dg, back to nexus.... you should now be pure white.

And of course suicide in the nexus when you do have a body after you lurker because you don't want to risk mucking it up like a clutz on dragon.

Best way to kill dragon, so you know, is dragon bone smasher on the pillars, once his head is down use your bow. If you think you are going to get punched pre cast warding. For the fire.... well... dont get hit :).

My friend and I still cant get the sword either, even with the V Day event, as well as a few other places being glitched. Even Setsuke randomly seems to be Down to talk to and Back up on the wall. Dunno whats causing this.

I have got it! You have to turn LEFT immediately when you enter the Dragon God area! Dont take the long route to the sword, because you will end on the wrong way of the rubble.;)

You'll probably have to clear the area's boss first; that's what I had to do.

If not, try returning to the nexus.

You know re reading this post here later I can say this.... It is definitely not a glitch that he could not loot the Keel Smasher in the Atlus version of Demon's Souls.

Only suggestion I can make is to make sure you do everything offline when you are dealing with world tendency.

Maybe I'm misreading the world tendency screen. All areas have a whitish light from them and the character stature in the middle has a glowing bluish white light but the keel smasher is blocked still??
Is this not pure white tendency? OR do I still need to take it off line? I think I've killed everything that can raise it if it's not.
Thoughts?

Well for one thing there is no such weapon as the "Keel Smasher" in the US version of the game. There is a Dragon Bone Smasher. You need to check the color of the "eye stone" in the top right on your screen when you are actually in world 2. Is Scirvir at his campsite by the way? If not, get a friend with DS, have them drop a red eye stone, then kill them a couple times. You should be good after that.

I am pretty sure red signs always work only blue and invaders are cut off when you beat a level. Maybe I am wrong on this one though.

Nope, pretty sure you can't see red signs in areas you've cleared... tried with a friend the other day, he dropped a sign in 1-3 and I forgot I had cleared it, couldn't see it. Of course you can still drop them, obviously, which is what I ended up doing.

Well it is pure white, I was told if it turned white after beating the Dragon (no I have no idea when it dulled a little) I could go to Nexus come back and it would be cleared. The ODD thing I noticed today however is the debris seems to have shifted... where I could only see through a small opening before I now see a big glaring opening on the right side I could jump over if he could jump and on the left one he could make it through if he could duck. Very confused why it shifted at all. Other things I noticed. Although I have pure white tendency for all worlds. The dragon I haven't killed is still at it's resting spot in 1-1 and the Magic Sword Makoto is unreachable. As well as a few other events. I'm kinda concerned there are certain things I wanted on pure white, it tells me I have pure white and yet I'm not receiving any of the pure white events. Wanted to do pure white first, then pure black next.

i had these problems too i thought i was retarded but its just not quite pure yet
usually if u beat the flamey (return to nexus) then drag god (return to nexus)
it should b pure white. does 4 me every time

well then I'm screwed. I did that and killed everything in the level. I really need to get a pic of pure white and near pure white. My friend loaded his game up and played it and his looked the same as mine except he was getting the events... sigh
Would have been nice to have as everyone seems to have some ridiculously powerful weapon at this point
