Where to learn spells and miracles?

Hi

On another post someone recommended learning cloak and something else for my thief. Where do I learn these things?

In the nexus, first floor, search around. You have to have a lvl. 10 in magic to learn spells though. Also, you'll have to free NPC's in the game to learn higher skilled spells, but I think Cloak is available from the get go. Might cost 3000 souls or so...

After you complete 1-1 there will be a few new people in the Nexus. Two of these will teach you spells and miracles for souls. There are also other NPCs who will need rescuing later in the game that when rescued will offer to teach you advanced spells and miracles in the Nexus, for more souls of course.

Like Gamefanatic said, be sure you have at least 10 points in Magic and Faith in order to be able to learn spells and miracles respectively. Also be sure you have a catalyst to be able to cast spells and a talisman to be able to cast miracles.
