How good is the stealth on this ring... is it max-level stealth or something?
I discovered that I can't cast Hidden Soul or Cloak while wearing Graverobber Ring.
Both spells can cast (so I'm assuming Hidden Soul stacks, like Cloak does) with Thief's Ring.

I believe the Graverobber only works on black phantoms. And it's pretty good when you're using it with the thief. I've actually go within a few feet of some black phantoms and cast poison cloud on them.

I don't know. It seems a lot of players are using it. I see them like a ghost had cast Warding and with a red light on their head... But you do have to be fairly close to see them.

Maybe they don't know that their glowing buffs are visible even when their body isn't?
I go out of my way to run an aura-less setup if I'm trying to be sneaky.

If memory serves, any doubled-up stealth will get you about halfway into lock-on range before you're visible. I don't think BP's ignore regular stealth. Maybe it's possible just to be invisible to BP's so you can pull nearby monsters and wipe them out before dealing with the big guy?

One time after getting the invaded message, I removed all auras and cast cloak (thiefs ring already worn) and went to ambush the BP. I don't know what this BP had equipped but we didn't see each other until we right next to each other. This must of really surprised the BP as I was able to turn and backstab before the other player reacted.

I did some testing with both graverobbers and thiefs rings, alone and together on the BP Dreglings outside miraldas areas.

Combined they have an effective detection distance of roughly less then 10 feet.

Thiefs Ring by itself was about 20ish feet, Graverobbers was about 15ish. Allthough this wasn't an extensive test so the numbers could be a tad off. It was also done in PBWT so I don't know if that influences it, but if it does in PWWT you could see even better results

There is a spell like the thiefs ring isn't there? That and game lag=terrible sometimes. I've been hit by attacks that were 20 feet away on my screen when they swung.

Thiefs Ring+Graverobbers=AMAZING for pvp backstabs and ambushes.

Hmm. Wierd. Thanks for the detailed info.

There's also a Cloak (stealth) spell and Hidden Soul (BP stealth) miracle. It's strange because they both seem to stack with Thief's Ring but you can't even cast them while wearing Graverobber.

If you double stack these it is more than enough, you will be able to get almost into lock on range before they see you. Even more so if you don't wear heavy armor.

Yeah, I noticed that my thief can sneak up much closer to enemies than my knight can.
I thought it might be the black outfit specifically, is it just light armor in general that's more sneaky?
