i often get messages when I invade someone..

Simple question: How do they get my psn ID? When I invade someone I think my character name gets displayed and not my psn account right?

and my character name != psn account

It displays your PSN ID. The opponent is going to their Recently Met Players then selecting the last person (being you since you're invading) and then sending you messages.

Right, the game shows your PSN and not your character's name. This is true for both invading and summoning phantoms.
