Well I know Banpresto is coming to an end, but i would like all you peeps to know that they will still be releasing games, especially SRW, well into the end of 2008. They are prepping for a big anouncement at the Super Robot War Kanshasai which takes place in April well after Banpresto has to become a part of Namco bandai.

If the thing about the whole banpresto closing its doors has anything to do with the localization of the PS2 OG series then I think we are wrong to be thinking in that direction. If anything its Atlus' decision.

Also, the teams that make the SRW games are simply being absorbed into Bandai Namco; in other words, future SRW games will likely be under the Bandai-Namco title rather than Banpresto; I doubt that Bandai-Namco is insane enough to break up the SRW Teams and miss out on all that money from Japan (and the US, if they bring OGS here.... >.>)

I hope they do release more SRT content to North America period. We're missing out :(

If they reasonably could have, I'm sure Atlus would have published them. The fact that they haven't by now makes it look pretty unlikely.

I'm pretty sure they're not that dumb. Super Robot Taisen is really popular in Japan.
