i just lost connection and was forced out of the game, so i went to the forums to say this little issue real quick. i turned off my ps3 so it wasnt on while i searched around the forums a little.
came back to demon's souls and back to the area i was having the issue, its fixed now.
i guess try restarting your ps3? maybe it was a temporary thing

This happens when you are playing in online mode and lose connection to PSN. The only thing you can do is either re-load your game or restart your ps3. Sometimes zoning via archstone fixes the problem.

I have now tried 2 different Demon's souls' disk and both have had the same issue. Once I get to the character creation screen there is no sound. In fact, the only sound I can here is from my subwoofer. This is the only game I have experienced this with. there is sound in the intro and the preview fight scene at the beginning, but nothing else. Since this is the second disk I have to believe it is my PS3 unit, but everything else works fine. Anyone have any ideas?
