^ Zelda posters from Club Nintendo. I count these as spoils because I bought the games and used the coins towards the posters. Makes sense right? I'm a little disappointed in the fact that the ESRB ratings are on the posters which somewhat ruins it. I mean, yeah you removed the illustrated logos but you kept the ugly black and white boxes? May I ask why? >.>

3 things to note if you're going to pick this up:
1. Get the Wii version, it runs extremly smooth compared to the ps2 and psp versions (Trust me, i own the ps2 version, and it's shoddy as hell.)
2.Buy a classic controller, this game doesn't support the gamecube controller, and the wiimote sideways is just awful.
3.Play with the arranged soundtrack on. It really is some of the best fighting game music i've ever heard (i've only played SS1, and the arranged music is leaps and bounds better than the MVS music.)

I went to Columbus Flea Market today. I wasn't expecting to find a video game shop there, but low and behold, I did. The guy who sold me this title looked similar to Kaki (from the pictures I saw of him in the picture thread.) Kinda cute. Kept flirting with me, though.

Long after PS1 was dead (~2004-2005) I found Arc the Lad sealed at Toys R Us, I would have paid the 60-70 bucks, but they even had it on their green tag clearance (half off)!

I still need to find the Lunars, though. I think those, Valkyrie Profile, Discworld Noir, and the Tales games are all the big titles I'm really looking for on PS1 now. Well, Elemental Gear Bolt, RayCrisis, Sillhouette Mirage, Vanguard Bandits, the Ogre games, Hoshigami, Kartia, and a couple of lesser Squeenix titles.

Then there's a ton of stuff that probably isn't that hard to find, like the Megaman series, some Marvel Superheroes or X-Men stuff, and so on.

Got mine a while back for about $38 off eBay mint and complete. This was around the time it was going for $80-100 and I got lucky that no one bid on it after I made my last bid. Not flea market lucky but...close enough. xD

I don't really bother with posting my spoils much anymore, and I hardly post pics when I do, but this I will just because of how annoying the whole affair was.

So I drove a little over 3 hours today to track down what feels like the only physical copy of Kenka Bancho in the entire state of Minnesota - actually found this at a Play n Trade. When I get home and open it up, I find the UMD has small superficial scratches on the back of the UMD casing. :/ I am sure it will play fine, but kind of a kick in the teeth.

I also received a pretty funny email from Gamestop as to why this title could not be preordered in store - Yes, I geek raged and wrote them a letter. They wrote me that KB was a title already available in stores, therefore it could not be preordered...

I can tell you from personal experience they don't always do this. I'm not sure you understand the difference between living in the country and living in town.

My mailbox is about 200 - 250 yards from my house and frequently gets hit by snowplows and farm equipment.

I would say that about 75 - 90% of the time, the postal service leaves me a slip if I am not home and I must pick it up the next day if I have time. My post office isn't down the block either, it is in a town 10 miles away and isn't always open.

If UPS doesn't drop off, the hub that is responsible for my house is 45 miles away, and their hours aren't exactly convenient.

All 3 in near mint condition. Total cost was 27 and some change. There was a 2 buy get 1 free on all used, plus my employee discount. I am happy for this month. I would try and push this, but I know my luck. It sucks when I push it too far. XD

It's great. It was $25 and although it didn't have much in the way of special features, it's just awesome to see old voice actors return and how they sometimes literally took select frames and vastly improved the animation. The CG used for the Evangelion is AMAZING, and the Ramiel fight is greatly re-done, and a lot more intense now. It was a very nostalgic experience watching. Again and again and again. xD

Well, not sure about the other PA stores, the Oxford store is certainly my favorite right now. I want to check out Neshamity and Franklin Malls. Kinda funny, though. I fought over Einhander with another guy looking at the N64, Sega CD, Dream Cast, SNES and NES games. He wanted it, but didn't care for the price. The store clerk said he would drop it, but I butted in saying I would pay 30 for it. Then the guy said he would then buy it. He eventually gave up, not without raiding the rest of the rare PS1 titles for his "collection." The dude had over 300 worth of stuff, even with the buy 2 get 1 free sale. I say that was the best day for me.

The DD sales have been gettign worse and worse every year... they just had one recently, but now they only take 40$ or whatever off of the retail price, so most of the time Amazon still beats them with their regular prices. On top of that since I live in IL I still have to pay sales tax... so I haven't bought much from DD in a while.

And yeah, The Third Man is now OOP, which is why I hurried up and bought another copy. Glad the new one came in the newer plastic cases that all the current CC Blu-Rays come in, so I will be selling my original cardboard case version when the prices go up even more. :)

^ I love getting four games for the price of $60. It's just such a great feeling. I honestly just do not care about the GH boxes right now. Every single PS3 game (and blu-ray) has been purchased new so far and I'd like this trend to continue. I wanted more from this year but all my extra funds went to gifts and I didn't have much left over to spend on myself so I worked with what I had and I think I did pretty well. Batman for $20 alone made my Black Friday worth it. I wanted a Demon's Souls deal and I was sad that it didn't happen. Atlus games were few and far this year for some odd reason.

^ I actually bought five blu-rays but one is not pictured here (Monsters Vs Aliens $9.99) because it is a gift. I figured I'd get the gift set of Cars simply because it was cheaper then the original blu-ray release. The other movies were nice and cheap at a sub $10 each so I was happy. I plan to pick up some Christmas blus in December along with something else I've been planning since September.

Funny I got that for a penny about a year ago. I'm just amazed how much the guide has grown in value and yet the guide itself is total crap.

This is one reason why I started buying the Harvest Moon and Rune Factory guides. Because they go out of print so damn fast! >.<
