Im on my second playthrough and i now the bosses get harder ive tried and tried and just getting killed!im just using soul light magic with water veil with demonbrand and purple flame shield +2 i need help killing him so i can get the bonecrusher and meatcleaver sword!

BTW my soul level is 89! i really need help!

you must include your soul level if you are requesting help for anything ingame, why? what way we know if we are within level range of you and can actually help.

thats no problem, I should be able to help but I havnt beat 2-1 yet so I would have to work my way there... if we do it quick though I can help... I have alot of homework I need to get done

flamelurker was the boss that killed me most. so so many times.
that said, he also taught me the importance of keeping your weapon in good condition.
Use magic on him, end of story.

Give him an offensive nick-name like "flamelicker" or "flamestomper" or "flamepooper". Then yell that word at him at least 10 times every time you fight him.

DANG YOUR FLAMEPOOPER! AHHHH! WHY DON'T YOU GO BACK TO POOPING INSTEAD OF HITTING ME WITH YOUR FLAME EXPLODING FIST OF POOPINESS!

Get him behind the bones and arrow him or magic or use overhand attack with a big sword. Killed him the first time on second playthrough.

Just beat him on the second try, first try had fluted armor and tried to side step atks (didn't work). Ended up putting Black Leather on and just out rolling him. two or three wacks & roll 3-4 times and repeat (white sticky stuff). Was using a +8 Winged Spear. Got some nice back shots in him.

Killed him the first time on second playthrough.Im sure he doesn't want to win with an exploit like hiding behind a wall so old hero cant hit you. Anyway just use thief's ring and sneak attack him till hes down.

Flamelurker wasn't hard. He's really easy to dodge. I don't even think he hit me once. I just put on light armour and kept firing magic at him and dodging everything he did. The real challenge is what's right after him. Does anyone have any advice for the boss of 2-3. I can't even hit him once, other than with that giant arrow. As soon as I go down to his level he shoots fire everywhere and kills me every single time.

There are 2 giant arrows. He can't hit you if you stay behind the columns......

There are 2 giant arrows. He can't hit you if you stay behind the columns......
In fact, he won't even try if you stay behind columns and attack barriers with range. When I went through 2-3, he never tried to attack me at all.

when I do 2-3 i never use magic to clear the rubble. Makes me feel kewly o_o
On second thought... except my first char who was magic based (easy mode zzzzzzz...) i have not fired a single offensive spell.... o_o

I get him behind the bars and he poops out after 10/11 hits and it takes about 200 magic shots lol!
Does the theif ring make him not sence me good?

Not sure how much that would help, but the Ring of Magical Sharpness will. I would think if your magic is that bad that it is taking so many hits, you might want to consider your melee options. Even someone with decent magic should be able to take him down quickly.

Learn his attack patterns. Roll out of the way and go back in for a few quick jabs. Rinse repeat.
Flamelurker and Maneater are the two toguhest bosses in the game in my opinion.
