If you don't see BP Satsuki at the beginning of 4-1 then you aren't PB tendency just yet. Close to it, yes, but not pure.

I already got my Executioner's Axe(Yay, I now have the entire Executioner's set for my slightly demented royal! >=3) and my Talisman of Beasts! I was a little cheap on the latter, though, after he one shotted me with Fireball during my first battle with him. Hurray for Thief's Ring+Graverobber's Ring+Poison Cloud+Soul Ray! XD

I'm really liking this, it's a great way to save on Ephemerals while farming shiny items on newer characters. If you haven't gotten Pure Black yet, quit the game and reload. It may take a few tries(took me three), but it'll get darker each time. It has to do with how the Online Tendency functions, I believe.

I'm using the BWT to try to farm for Pure Bladestone, which thus far is a spectacular failure. I do have a question though.

Primeval Demons. Are they just the regular mobs with the BP outline, or are they a special mob with spawn points like Satsuki?

special mob, little hp, dont fight back, spawn point, you will know them if you see them

Been havin a little fun with this. I'm now 5/5 on PBWT BPs, and events, and 4/5 PWWT events.

Made it much easier to deal with Miralda, Satsuki, and Rydell in BP form as I didn't have to jump off high ledges or let monsters kill me.

I always get close enough to backstab him and thats just with thief's ring. You do, like, literally walk to him slowly, right?

as far as walking slowly goes, i can get very close to him, then i move forward 1 step at a time, as soon as i'm in range of soulsucker he turns and 1shots me.

What I noticed is that all the dungeons have become "darker". Not Pure Black or Pure White, just closer to those extremes.

So, if you are close to one of these and wanna see the related events, commit a few suicides (in living form) and you'll be set. Got Miralda's Axe and Rydell's Staff easily, too bad the game screwed me regarding the 3-2 primeval demon. :mad:

PS. If you reach PBWT and NOT confront the primeval right away will it still be there once the world gets white again? Or does it disappear?

Today I killed BP Rydell and walked all the way to Yurt's cage to ride it down the swamp. But noooooo the door was closed and I was FORCED to go back to the Nexus (was carrying a sh1tload of souls, couldn't risk them). Of course, due to Rydell's death poof! Neutral Tendency...

I had a similar experience, just to sink the dagger deeper: In 3-1 there is a dregling at some point who doesn't attack you, just sits there and talks BS. Guess what: The blue that was with me just killed him, mid-phrase! I was listening to the blasted creep and then boom! Dead.

You probably know, but that's...not actually a bad thing. It's not like Yurt where he broke that part of the level. Still, that's a riddle for the host, Blue's shouldn't solve it for them, and certainly shouldn't kill him mid-phrase. Heck, my friend killed a certain boss mid-phrase on me too! I yelled at him, and made him listen to said boss on his playthrough, so I could know what it said. >.>

Does anyone know where your WT will be after this event is over? Are they going to be reset back to where they were? Are they going to go neutral? Are they going to have an event that turns them all Pure White? I hope they do something to bring them back up. I still have about 6-7 bosses left to beat, and I don't want to be doing that on Black Tendency if I can avoid it. Also, it's really easy to get to Pure Black, but it's hard to get to Pure White. I hope this little event didn't ruin my chances of getting certain worlds to Pure White.

Ironically, my brother, who just wanted to see this game I keep saying is so fun, started a new game and get's PB WT. A few minutes later I load my character up hoping to finally have PB WT and I'm still neutral..

All the people in here blaming Blue or Red Phantoms for killing their NPCs are either liars, morons or both.

All NPCs show up as intangible Grey Phantoms to Red and Blue Phantoms, thus making it IMPOSSIBLE to harm them unless they've already turned hostile to the host.

One thing that might be interesting to some of you who don't see a change to PB is that this seems to be only enabled on US servers. So if you play any of the asian versions you won't have PBWT.

Asian versions are from HK/CN, KR and JP.

Your suppose to kill it, if you don't the boss of 3-1 is resurrected repeatedly. Also if Yurt is released he kills everyone in your Nexus, so maybe the blue guy wanted to help. Though you also get the gloom armor from him. Yes you only kill him when he's red too.

I'm not sure I fully understand how World Tendency works either, but I have an idea of what may have happened. When you were going through these worlds on PBWT, did you leave and go to the Nexus after killing any Black Phantoms or the Primeval Demon? If so, the WT updates when you go to the Nexus, so when you go back, it may not be Pure Black anymore. If you killed a Primeval Demon, your WT goes up about +3 or so, same with the named Black Phantom. So if you kill either of those, and go to the Nexus, the next time you return, the world will not be Pure Black anymore, it will be closer to Neutral. Once it's no longer a Pure Black or White, those events won't occur.

From my understanding, you need to complete all of the Pure Tendency events in one sitting, without leaving the world, in order to get to them all. Doing this will also take you straight to PWWT, as all the Black Phantoms and Primeval Demon will raise your WT.

Sorry if I stated the obvious, or even incorrectly stated how World Tendency actually works. It's entirely possible that I'm more confused about WT than you are. :)
