This thread was inspired by Balfor. Post hear the funniest death that you have had, or seen.

I jumped in the middle of 3 dredglings I guess they are called, they all decided to do that multi-slice at about the same time and I was ping ponged around between them and I died.. it was upsetting but my brother laughed that I being lvl 40ish at the time died to the weakest enemy in the game.

Haha. I just finished beating the Phalenxe(sp?) and ran into the other room and got stuck on the dead horse, by the other little ones and arrows slicing me open lol

I believe to this day it remains 4-2, with Pure Black World Tendency. Having come to a cliff side with a pair of Black Phantom Skeletons wielding swords the size of couches, you could tell it was a dire situation. My character is agile, with little armor to speak of, and these cliffs make for a poor range of movement. Unfortunately, with a giant blade descending rapidly upon my avatar's new haircut, my mind decided to get all Star Fox on me, and went "DO A BARREL ROLL!"...so I did...right off the cliff.

Of course, there was also my first encounter with the Giant club users in 5-1. Which is probably one of my most hilarious deaths...As I lured the giant out to fight him, and maneuvered about the small area, I managed to hack his HP down to almost nothing. However as the fight came to a close, he managed to trap me, his club on one side, a hundred foot fall on the other. In a last ditch effort, I broke out the shield, and blocked. The spiked club collided with the shield, sent my poor little Thief flailing into the air, and off the narrow walkway to her doom.

Oh, and then there was that time I first ventured into 4-1. I had a Blue Phantom with me, and we were fairly far into the area, when I spot a message on the ground. "Beware of trap ahead." it stated. I slowly creep around the corner and...there's a glowing panel on the floor. I think to myself, "that must be the trap trigger..." Only, as I was doing this, my Blue Phantom ally had decided to just skip on down the corridor, tripping the panel. Before I could deduce the gravity of my situation, three arrows embedded themselves into my character's spine. Killed by my own helper!

Demon's Souls is, if anything, a game with hilariously awesome deaths. XD

Probably the all too frequent 'roll-off-a-needlessly-tall-staircase/cliff-while-trying-to-get-out-of-the-way-of-some-enemy-that-jumped-out-of-nowhere' kind of death.

I was summoned as the Old Monk and as the player entered the fog I backstabbed him with my crescent dagger and immediately cast God's Wrath. He got what he deserved for casting anti-magic field before entering. Maybe it doesn't sound funny but I did lol. Maybe because it was so pitiful.

Oh, it did. I've become very well practiced in it though; can usually pull one off once per day, sometimes, if I'm doing really well, more. :p

nothing too funny but summoning a blue phantom in 4-2 and him watching me

barrel roll off the cliff just like those crazy skeleton guys.

I've never had the pleasure of being killed by my own helper. I have been killed by the person I am helping though.

1-3, the second flaming boulder. So the guy had already gone through this part of the game and had died. So he summoned me, I'm walking along trying to get past the boulder. He charges and ends up pushing me right into the flaming boulder.

4-2 As a black phantom. So I invaded this guys game, he was at the start near the stairs, he fell off onto the small little ledge, I followed him. He pushed me, fell of the cliff, with me(too my dismay) falling right after him. Thankfully, he died first, allowing me to get my life back.

I admit this thread is "funniest" death but funny and embarrassing are awfully the same thing to the person reading them ;p.

parade rainer.... besides I have been here for 2 weeks and that thread hasn't been posted in once, last thing I want to do is revive a zombie thread... therefore I was forced to start a new one.

Actually though I was too lazy to look for it and didn't know it existed.. but im going to pretend like my first statement was the real one.
