New and have many questions.please take time to read.

I am new to this game, just started this morning. I LOVE IT! It is so challenging and frustrating at times but a briliants story. However, I have many questions that need tending to if you would take the time.

1. I hear and read that there is a PvP on this? I don't see it on the game menu, where might it be at or is it in game PvP?

2. I am having a hard time finding armor. I have deleted all of my character who weren't very far in game. Any advice on a fun melee maybe some magic style?

3. Phantoms, how exactly do they work? Am I a phantom when I play? The gem that we use to make ourself become a phantom and help people? Or are we the players not phantoms? I am very confused on phantoms.

4. Is there a way to group up with people because some of the things are very difficult to solo, it could just be because I suck but I don't know.

Those are my huge questions, they are very vitale in helping me understand and eventually get higher and play, so any help would be great.

1. Black stones let you invade other peoples world and fight them(you get after lvl 1-1)
Red stones you get after beating the game (you fight to the death with your soul level as the prize)

2. Thats because it doesnt really exist in the begining, there is alot in world 3, female armor in world 1, but the rest you have to preceed a bit to get

3. Throw down a stone of appropriate color (Red, Blue) if someone else steps on your sould sign you are summoned to thier game as a phantom. Blue to help and Red to fight. Also if you use the black stone you invade thier game (they dont invite you) and you are a black phantom.

I remember my other question I had. What is it with 1-1, 1-2 and so on. I don't understand what that is meaning. Does it mean like the first statue-first archstone??

X - the number corresponding to which archstone starting on the left side (near the blue phantom) and moving clockwise.

Y - The level in the archstone

1-1 = Boletarian Palace
1-2 = Phalanx Archstone
2-1 = Stonefang Tunnel

1. PVP isn't a menu option. There are three methods to involve yourself in PVP, the first you'll likely encounter, is a Black Eye Stone.

2. You honestly don't need to find armor. This is a bit of an unusual mechanic, but really you can play with any armor in the game and be functional. My Thief still uses her starting armor. However, if you're just looking for a new style, or your starting gear doesn't suit your taste, it's often scattered about. 3-1 has around five different sets, although two of them require a bit of legwork to gain access too. Several sets can be purchased from vendors in the various areas, and there are a lot which can be obtained by killing various enemies, or by getting certain World Tendency events.

3. Phantoms refer to a player which has come into your world, from theirs. A Blue Phantom, is a player you invited from a Blue Soul Sign you found on the ground. They are your allies, and generally try to help you clear the level.

Black Phantoms are players who have invaded your game in an attempt to kill you, and take your body. They can only invade you if you're currently alive, in body form.

Red Phantoms, like Black Phantoms, are players who intend to fight you, however you must invite them. Red Phantoms are like duels, they place down their sign for any who wish to challenge them, and the victor gains souls equivalent to one level of the loser, who loses said level.

4. As mentioned above, Blue Phantoms are people who intend to help you. If you're in body form, look around the start of an area, or just before a boss for blue soul signs. They resemble messages, but glow blue, and when you approach them, you'll see a phantom of their character.

If you're in soul form, you can put down your own sign with the Blue Eye Stone. If you help someone clear a level, you'll get your body back, allowing you to summon others.
