One of the times you talk to Raihou he asks you to say his name. One of the choices you can pick make him say something about you not getting the joke because that game never came out here. I was wondering what game he was talking about and what exactly the joke was.

If I remember right offhand, the choice in question was "Rai Raihou," an allusion to Rei Reihou, one of the major characters in the previous two (Japan-only) Devil Summoner games.

That is correct. Rei Reiho is the heroine of the first Devil Summoner game, and an NPC in the second, Soul Hackers.
