Patches & Filthy Man

I was trying to get my Stonefang Tunnel to Pure Black WT, then i noticed something, the Filthy Man in 1-1 is missing somehow. In addition to that once i beat the armored spider, i went to try and find patches, and of course he's not even around the Big sized bearbug trap area thing too...
Is this because i have a black WT??

Patches leaves after you deal with him the first time, as for the filthy man, I am not sure.

I accidentally killed the filthy man :(. Patches is now in the Nexus for me at the top of the small inner staircase. Im not too sure when he showed up there.

Hrmm... as far for filthy man... it might... accidentally killed by the Black Phantom that invaded me couple nights ago.
But... as for patches... it is not possible for him to missing. I havent dealt with him yet (if you are talking about the bugbear event), at least not on this character.

There is another filthy man in 2-2, same room where patches was. He's at the very end of the lowest path (where the flying bearbugs come up). I know it's a pain to get to him, but bring the souls you need as well as a method to get out (I use evacuation)
