Armor Spider Soul (rookie mistake)

I made a rookie mistake and instead of making the Lava Bow I used the soul to make the fire spray spell. My wife plays as well and I just watched her mow down a ton of skeletons in one shot (jealousy rage).

I have the White Bow, but unfortunately cannot wield it correctly right now because my strength and dexterity aren't high enough.

Not really a lot of meat to this post, just frustrated that I used the Armor Spider soul incorrectly. Darn it!!!

I have another character, kind of... but I have no idea what direction I want to go with him. I really want to at least focus on pure white world tendancy. Which I'm still racking my brain on the exact methods to make sure it stays pure white.

Summon blue phantoms whenever you can. That builds up your wt fast.

Fire spray is good spell too if you are magic build ^^ you can cast it while moving too O.o!? and it feels like a spell casting style of a machine gun hehehehe

so no need to be unhappy :) there's always NG+

I'm not a magic build. The lava bow is a great ranged bow. I'd much prefer the bow to the spell.

I have the lava bow and it is good, but i don't think it is the best. I have a compund long bow+10 and a lava bow and my dex is 24(so I could use the white bow) and str is 30 and the compound long bow +10 is the better one for my amount of str/dex

Trying to upgrade some weapons that I have, but short on certian stones. I'm looking for a Large chunk of sharpstone. Is there a specific area that there is an abundance of stones, or do you find them as you go thru the game? Thanks for any :D suggestions.

Crystal Lizards in 2-2 there is an area where they nest and there is about 6-10 lizards, best to snipe them or AoE them with a fast casting spell, god's wrath is fast enough so I would assume that many other's are too. also the miners in 2-1 2-2 with the bags drop them usually

What are the requirements for the lava bow? I have the compound short bow+8, and that sticky bow+2.

Nice, thanks Eskol. One more thing, you wouldn't happen to know what pure white tendancey is would you? Cause I guess thats the only way to get to the sword where the dragon god is.

beat flame lurker with 2 blue phantoms and don't die in body form lol then you can get the bone crusher while fighting dragon god

As for Reqs. for Lava bow, 21 str 16 dex

Also to craft it you need Hard DS(Armor Spider) and any bow +6 i.e. Shortbow +6 Longbow+6 compound shortbow+6 compound longbow+6
Give Ed the flamelurkers DS then he will craft the lava bow from your +6 bow.

You want a good bow? I'd STRONGLY recommend you get the compound longbow from 4-1, then level it to sticky+5 (uses spiderstones, so stock up on thos).

Sticky compound longbow+5 has S rating for dexterity enhancement, and it also doesn't need all the weird requirements of white bow. It's really the best bow in the game if you level dexterity.

yea the sticky is really great if you have high dex, but if you don't do Dex alot then the sticky isn't as good as the +10...lol I got a sticky +4 on one of my alts and it's good and all but it didn't pass my longbow+8 untill i had about 30 dex( had 26 str feeding the +10 also )

I recently did a co-op to defeat a boss. Now, my question is, on this fight there were four of us fighting. How is that accomplished, because I can only summon 2 pathoms for a total of 3. Is there a specific level you have to achieve or a special stone?:???::confused:

Yeah I have a Sticky Compound Longbow +4 (need a few shards for +5), but my dex isn't great (only at 15 to use scraping spear) so I'm wondering if the lava bow would be better for me. I do use magic, but I tend to favor more protection and faith based spells. However, I am planning on leveling up magic substantially in the near future so I can use Talisman of beasts.

Any suggestions between Firespray and lava bow for me?

I've seen this happen once before, I'm not actually sure how people do it. So, I just sat in the back and shot flamelurker with arrows while the other two blue phantoms and the host player were getting themselves killed lol
Still, I am curious as to how people do this..

I beat Flamelurker just by using my compound short bow+7 with heavy arrows. I ran away from him and when he did his attacks I would shoot him. I managed to get caught against the rib bones near the fog to 2-4 and I sniped him as fast as I could before he got out. I was in human form and never died or had help. I still wasn't able to get that Dragonbone Sword. I'm thinking that my strength needs to be higher (than the 23 that I have) before it will let me break that debris blocking it. Do you think that this could be a posibility since it takes a strength of 30 to use it?

Your world tendancy needs to be pure white. Once it is, you can get that weapon. 2-3, 3-1, and 4-2 require pure white to get the special objects for that world. Worlds 1 and 5 need pure black or pure white from what ive read.

I have seen the 4 player thing once as well, 3-1 i was a blue phantom...not sure how that happened.

You can't drop demon's souls....the game won't let you :)

Where are all the different blacksmiths in the worlds .. i know there is one in Nexus and one at the beginning for 2-1 but is there another guy somewhere?


also is there another mage's wand to be found in this game or am i stuck with just the one?

No there is no other blacksmith just those two. Technically there are 4 different wands. the wooden one, a silver one which has slightly less magic power than the wooden but gives bonus mp, the "insanity catalyst" which gives huge power but doubles mp cost, and a final one which is equal to the wooden one but is more "versatile" we will say.

If you don't mind upgrading dex to 24 you can just use the white bow. Strength needs to be 20 to use it (not 30 because you use both hands).

Used with heavy arrows it's a good alternative to lava. It does less damage but has higher range.

Or yeah you could just upgrade a long compound to +10.

Multiple bows will outperfom the white bow at it's minimum usage stats. The +5 quality compound long bow, the sticky compound long bow as low as +3, or just a straight compound longbow +10.

Just so you understand what I mean every single one of those bows I just mentioned not only does more damage at the white bows minimum stats, they also scale with stats to a greater degree than the white bow even when you +5 it. So the damage difference only increases as you level meaning the white bow is basically useless.

Yeah...I used the white bow alot at first because it was the best bow I had, no scaling stats weapons.

After a few upgrades I got a Quality Bow+4 (waiting on a pure clearstone to +5 it) and it had C grade str/dex boosts. I have about 30 in both meeting the requirements for white bow then boosting them for damage on Meat Cleaver (S rank in both) so when I got this quality bow upgraded it was over 30 attack better then the white bow.

Takes me 2 shots to kill Grim Reapers in 4-2 with quality and heavy arrows. 3 shots with white bow and heavy or regular arrows.

Many alternatives to the Lava bow but you can always get it on the next playthrough and you need that spell if you actually care about obtaining trophies.

The lava bow isn't really worth crap after the first game unless you are magic spec.
