i want to get that head drop, im trying to become the monk boss but i cant figure out how to do it....ive worked all the up from the maneater spot and im standing in the monk room right now i cannot use my black stone at all what am i supposed to do?

hang on i think i found it...its a 2 centimeter area that you can use them haha

Love being the boss for that fight. Got that crazy looking hat two times out of a total of three, both times the opposing player didn't even make it to the room. :lol:

Okay, so I guess I'm in the minority here. I won the first time I played and I got the owner from Curious George's hat. Every time after that I've been summoned as a black phantom, I just use my fists and play that way, or I'll just use the stone and leave.

I felt bad sending someone so far back, lol. I know the trials of that happening so many times.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to have beaten him for you to be selected. Just need a soul sign up or be attempting an invasion at the right time.

All you have to do to become the Black Phantom to battle as the boss for 3-3 is as follows...

Anywhere while in soul form in 3-1 (especially) or 3-2 drop your blue eye stone to be summoned as a phantom. That majority of the time I've seen the player will be summoned as the Black Phantom boss for 3-3.

well anyways i just tested out the monk hat and it does make a large difference, im glad i got it, very good item

large difference as in it was almost doubling the damage

Any idea how much more magic damage you take with it equipped? Thought I read it increase the dealt and taken magic damage.

try it with the hat a kris blade and a ring of magical sharpness if you really want to see stacking ice pick. I can't stand wearing the thing though it just looks wayy too goofy. Also how are you setting people back? All they have to do is re clear the staircase leading up. Yeah the BP octopus guys can be tough but it isn't like you have to fight an entire level.

yes now ive been playing with it a bunch and i can answer this.....i tend to farm areas for black phantoms.....well tonight i was on a roll i murdered like 9 people....i got some guy like 3 times and had him sending me messages lol

but anyways, ya i fought another caster and i ended up getting at a wierd angle and got spammed by fireballs and it took like 3 to take me out LOL and thats with my dark silver shield eating 1 of them for me

but on top of the monk hat i also had the magical sharpness ring on thats stacked negs on me.......i dont care to play like that tho because thats the only time ive died all night and its worth it IMO, but yes it really adds the dmg u take immensely

Kris Blade is a straight sword, you can off hand it etc.
