You get it from ostrava in 1-4 after you pass the blue dragon. Or just kill him when you see him.

I still don't see your stone near the spear :X This game dislikes me for some reason.

If memory serves me correctly, don't you both need to have not beaten Phalanx in order for you to summon Ice Pick to 1-1 XFlammableX? Do correct me if I am wrong.

Looks like I might have to solo this sob unless we can put it down in 1-4 and run all the way back lol....but any tips for killing him if I have to solo.

I might fight him tonight, since we're moving tomorrow.. I wont have television or internet until Saturday. If I do beat him, and I get the chance, I'll let you know what I did. Best of luck to you though! You can try the hit and run method. Make sure you have a thief's ring. Hit him once or twice.. and run all the way out and across the bridge. Watch him walk out.. and he'll turn back around. If you're quick enough you might even be able to get a back stab before running back across the bridge.

The big danger is he heals himself. If you are particularly dextrous it is possible to kite him to the stairs where the flame sword dreglings where and trick him into falling off them resulting in an instant kill. This isn't how I killed him but it is possible.

LOl I just beat 1-4 earlier and I believe that a fog stops you from back tracking. But I will have to try kitting fim off the stairs.

I used a cheapy methed to kill him that is very easy. Its just cheap and time consuming. I can tell you how if youd like.

Well, its quite simple, you just need to be careful. You should have picked up the sword already. I equipped it and put it 2h mode so its faster and more powerful. Also make sure the theifs ring is on. Just unload on him til he turns aggressive. As soon as that happens run away until he is not chasing you anymore.

Now it will be easy to kite him. Wait until he gets back to his starting spot in the room near the sword, well where it was. Then shoot an arrow, or get close enough to make him chase you. Run outside and go about halfway down the bridge. He should stop chasing you, turn around, and head back into the room. As soon as he turns into the room, run to the room, the walk up behind him, and backstab him. I was hitting him for 150/backstab. As soon as the backstab finishes, run back halfway down the birdge. He will come out, then turn around and walk back again. Just keep backstabbing and running until he is dead.

An easier way is to play ring a round the rosie with the altar in the room. If you have the thieves ring on he will give up and go back to his starting point. Then stand a few feet behind him and use God's Wrath. Rinse and repeat. He'll be dead after about 10 or 15 of them. Just bring plenty of spice.

Ahh good tip I think I already used the soul needed for God's Wrath on Firestorm, will that work just as well? And a question about kiting won't he heal after a while or when he no longer sees you does he just leave without healing?

When i was backstabbing him, he didnt no heal. Also, its a very quick process once you do it 2-3 times and get it down. And IMO safer than running in a circle around the alter.

I haven't seen him heal and I'm sure Firestorm would be just as effective if you can nail him with a wall. You might even be able to kite him too if you walk slowly enough. I used God's Wrath since it throws him a bit.

Thanks for the tips everyone I finally did beat him and I found the method I used to be easier for myself. I stood right outside the door ran in and used poison cloud on him then ran back outside before he targeted me and I only had to do that about 4 times but you must have theifs ring on.

Lol, use theifs ring and death cloud or poison all you have to do is wait for him to collapse on the floor.
