an epic trick i just learned and will share

i figured out how to do flawless runs on 2-2 crystal geckos, and i have another kilij coming my way tonight and want to be prepared to upgrade it how i need it

needless to say im hitting up some crystal geckos, now im sure you all know the big room in 2-2 that has like 8 crystal geckos in it.....well i did my flawless run and then my dog comes running in so i quit the game and start messing with him

just now decided to start playing again and load the game up and im still standing in that room...BAM every single one of them is now spawned and sniped them all with my bow from the same spot without moving LOL....easy crystal gecko farming....and should work well on those illusive ones taht like to suicide of cliffs and stuff as well HAHA

hope it helps, i mean you can spawn in the game standing right beside of them so it should :P

not quite sure....after having 2 loads at once i had more than i needed and left.....it was heavy lol, but i should only have 1 spawn left on them i need to get some boss kills to test

refresh my memory on how to get there. I didn't get that god slayer spell or whatever so I didn't go in there again... i'll do this though.

Is it in off the lower caves where you first run into patches?

When you first enter 2-2, it's the tunnel to the left... past those 3 exploding mine carts. There's a huge floor elevator that goes down to the crystal geckos

You should be able to notice it right away, because you most likely will be welcomed with Nameless NPC Black Phantom (unless you killed it) otherwise you will see about 3 lurking around brightly in the middle of the tunnel that will take you to the crystal lizards

actually, lol that is listed in the official walkthrough, the gecko's spawn as many times as you have killed the boss's in that world so max those gecko's will spawn is 4 times, the official walkthrough says go down there and kill them all, reload your game and they are back, for easier kills run right into the hole and use wrath of god the reload and do it again

Sniping with the bow is safer than wrath of god but I will through out an additional tip here. To make sure you reload in a specific location all you have to do is use an item. Every time you consume an item the game saves, that includes where you stood when you did it.
