buying magic as Priest?

I can only buy an option of 4 spells from Freke's apprentice that appears after you beat 1-1. Enchant weapon, demon's prank, Cloak and protection are available. I am looking to add an offensive spell to my arsenal. Neither Flame toss or Soul arrow are available to buy.

Is this a class restriction or are spells random?
Will one of those spells appear if I buy one of the existing options?

I have a wooden Catalyst and my magic and intelligence are beyond 10.

I know it seems stupid, but can you scroll up or down on the list? If not... you could try another character and see if it still happens.

Try rescuing Sage Freke himself ;). Remember he is only an apprentice so he doesn't know too many spells.

Well, I know he knows Soul Arrow and Flame Toss ( I have them and I JUST rescued Freke).

I found the answer last night, I already had the spells I just had to rememeber them. It seems I was was given them for free. Im not sure what triggered this.

When I clicked on Remember spell I had Water Veil, Flame Toss and Soul Arrow. Im possitive I never bought these spells.

Same thing happened to me on my first character Monnik. I was given soul arrow, water veil, and flame toss for free.
