Question on Hero's and Soldier's Souls

I was wondering if Hero's and Soldier's Souls serve any other purpose then just giving you souls? Are they used for crafting certian items? I want to use them to level up, but i'm scared cause i don't know if they serve a greater purpose lol. Thanks for the help in advance.

nope so feel free to use whenever....the boss souls are the only ones that you need to save

Those souls are like a penny change ^^. keep them/use them whenever you feel like.
I found they are useful when i died 2nd time w/ able to retrive any souls and needed extra items/repairs

I tend to save mine in case I am slightly short of a level up, need repair souls, or some extra souls to restock arrows. The low end ones I am not as conservative with though and tend to burn them more readily, I try to hold the big ones until the "oppertune time".

I don't care what I use them for, I just save them until I actually need to buy something and I'm short. No sense using them right as you get them, in case you die and lose it forever. Might as well keep it as an item until it's needed. =P
