I really like the normal songs from Persona 3 FES, though it seems like most soundtrack CDs included the ambient video game music sort of mixed in, which makes the normal songs harder to listen to. At least that was the case with my Persona 4 CD.

the first Trilogy did it for me , all of the three game had great memorable moments that always play in my mind accompanied with sound track .

P4 for me, I've never played P2 due it never being released across here, now if they were to re-release like the original Persona on the PSP i'll be all over it *take the hint Atlus* :p

Pretty much nailed my favorites, though the map themes and boss theme deserve an honorable mention.

As for IS, Knights of the Holy Lance and the final boss theme are among the best, IIRC EP has the exact same theme in the end.

I cant say from experience since i haven't played all the persona's however from those I have I'd say both of p2's are excellent, p3 has way to much J-pop, which was nice for a while, but after a long time becomes redundant, the only one I can actually stand for long periods is the second bgm of tartarus.

There's nothing wrong with P3 and P4's soundtracks per se - and they have good songs on them, but the soundtracks for P1 and P2 are just flat out better all around.

"Burn my Dread: Reincarnation Persona 3"

If that doesn't count then I dunno. I like all of the normal soundtracks a lot. Megami Ibunroku Persona has great music and a killer arranged version of "Deva Yuga". Persona PSP has some great Meguro works("School Days", "Bloody Destiny", and "Deva Yuga" remade especially). I do really like the Innocent Sin OST, especially the "Seven Sisters" and "Sumaru City" themes. "Aoba Park" and "Sumaru TV" (normal and reverse) are other all time favorites from Eternal Punishment. Persona 3's "The Voice Someone Calls" and Persona 4's "Backside of the TV" or "Studio Backlot" (same song) are both excellent themes. Those are most notable, and all the other songs are just plain good, in my opinion. I honestly couldn't choose one over the others.

Then again, if "Reincarnation Persona 3" counts, that's my favorite.

I haven't played much of P2:IS and none of EP, so I can't comment much on their soundtracks. I absolutely love IS' boss battle theme though.

I have to say the dark Persona Revelation/Persona innocent sin soundtrack is great but Persona 3 Fes Whoa best ever! Favorite songs in Persona 3 Fes is Joy, Afternoon break, Memories of the school remix.

I thought MIP's soundtrack was incredibly generic and boring but that's just me...

I think I like Persona 4 the best. Part of this is just because I have more emotion tied up in my memories of the songs though. I like the 3 soundtrack too, but it just isn't the same. I admit to being under exposed to Persona 2 though...

I love them all, but it is thanks to Persona 3/FES OST that I discovered Shoji Meguro so I have to go with this one.

For sure Persona 3. I'm already a big electronica/hip hop head so to see those in quality RPG blew my mind. It was love at first sight.
