every single person i know has this game and loves this game....+ all the video game people i subscribe too on youtube love it and there are a million unboxings.....i know this game has to be selling like a beast, hurry up and get to work on DS2 :)
despite a few issues this is literally my fav game to play its exactly what i like in a game and i know im going to need a second one and i think its obvious already the sales are going to be there
please address the multiplayer more tho, and include mic support as well as party modes ect.....and get to work on it NOW that way when this one gets old #2 will be near done :)

Why don't you guys just enjoy Demon's Souls for now? There may not even be plans for a second. I haven't looked into it, but if anything.. I would just like to see the Land of the Giants.

I agree with you Ice, this would be a good series to keep going. I disagree on the MP though. I feel it would take away a lot of the suspense and feel of dread if you were chatting with friends during this. I'll have to get on Live with a buddy to find out for certain though, but that's my gut feeling.

Lol, you can do the portal in any order, so why not do land of the giants now? Anyways, I don't want to become to attached to a game when there is no possibility of a sequel or a patch or something.. :(

Land of the Giants is the broken sixth portal. So that statement more refers to a wish for the addition of the area. =X

I second this, I wouldn't add mic support but a better way to communicate, i hate when someone summons me then just stands there and expects me to do all the work, or if they go down a different path then we get lost lol but i also like it because the whole time im watching this strange player take hit after hit after hit and nearly die on a simple dregling and im going wtf dude? seriously...it is hilarious to see those really bad players

Lol I summoned some guy into my world earlier today.. he got killed by a blue eyed knight. I had almost killed it, I rolled back to avoid his attack.. and the guy ran right into it.

That's pretty dang epic. I think the only knight that killed me was the Red Eyes on 1-1 and that was right after I started. Went back later with the Dragon Bone Smasher and knocked his arse to the ground out of spite.

Nice! I need a decent weapon. I just can't find the ores I need. My main weapon is a Winged Spear +5. I've been farming the 1-1 Red Eyed Knight and the 4-1 Red Eyed Knights.. those ones are hard. I think I'll head back to the mines for ores.. hopefully I'll get the ones I need.

Hm. What ore are ya looking for? Sharp, Hard, Clear, Grey, Dragon, Spider, etc?

Don't you mean 1-4? No knights anywhere but Boletaria castle. The skeletons are just undead warriors. All they drop is blade stones and such. The black ones drop uchigatana's but you can find one "somewhere" anyway.
If you are looking for basic upgrade mats (hard and sharp) I suggest 1-1 and 1-2 hoplite farming. Or doing the crystal gecko kills in 2-2. Also check your npc's quite a few of them sell shards of various kinds, sometimes they cost but farming the souls isn't that hard.
Yes, i'd like 2 and a patch... FIX co-op, for those giving the "suspense" aspect. Great, you don't have to co op.
The game was pretty suspenseful for me on the first map or so, after that even alone it wears off IMO (outside the first time I did 3 - 1). Once you get a method to your madness and learn to be careful this game isn't too hard.
But really co op would be great, and the suspense would come from constantly trying to keep each other alive!
Call it Demon Souls United :)
I'd also like to see more gear, selection seems a bit limited. At least let me customize colors.
But regardless i'm totally addicted to this game. I've put in about 40 hours since I got it tuesday night... crazy. Uncharted 2 is staying shrink wrapped for a bit possibly :surprise:
Another thing i'd like to see less of is the ledge baiting for items... I mean death carries a strict penalty... did you really have to put 4 things on each level in places that will have you dying?
And it's not like dropping down in this game is precise... at all.
