Glancing at the wiki it appears the trophies are the same?

Was under the impression they were going to be different thats all. Forgot where I heard it.So I guess I can continue to work on my platinum from import or will it be a whole new set to work on? Either way is win win.

That's a good question, I think this version will have a different game Id on your PSN account which would mean it's handled like a completely different game and we have to do all the work again.
Personally I don't mind, en contraire, I'm looking forward to it and see this version as a "reboot" with fresh players, fresh messages, !FRESH PANTHEON!, etc... :)

UPS guy just dropped mine off, seconds ago. I could check, but I can't promise anything until later tonight as I'll probably be absorbed into the game.

Pretty sure that I've read in the past that the trophies are gonna be the same, but will not be combined with the ones for the import version.

Hehe...I'm gonna have two seperate sets of Demon's Souls trophies.

My friend who imported it has two Phalanx trophies, so I can confirm the console treats them as two separate games.
