#12: If you save all major Demon's Souls and keep them until you have one of everyone in the game you can turn them into blacksmith Ed for the Phantom Armor set which makes you take half damage from all attacks.

#13: The difficulty of the Red Eye Knight in 1-1 was adjusted players just starting should find him much less threatening now.

- Kill the monumental and you get a ring of invincibility and the mighty candle of destruction 500 physical damage / 500 fire damage / 500 magical damage with an S/S/S/S rating. Get ready for a fight though, after hitting her once you are both transported to an arena and she is the true old one, toughest boss in the game

- Talk to the maiden in black 50 times in the nexus and eventually, after flirting with her, she will disrobe. Afterwards, if you wish, you can then loot her black cloak of the blind, enabling you to see through thief ring effect. It also has 100 physdef and 250 resist fire / magic.

- Uppercut Ed (blacksmith) in the face with hands of god (R2 attack), and he kneels to you, calling you the "soul god" and will offer any upgrades henceforth absolutely free (this includes demon's souls, colorless demon's souls, materials, no charge for ALL upgrades)

- Land a hit to FlameLurker in the eye with a toad-eye arrow (how obvious is that!) and his flames will extinguish, rendering him a weakling

- Alternate ending: Walk (slowly) up to the False King, and instead of attacking him, give him a shoulder massage (R3 and L3 simultaneously while unarmed) and he will ask you to be his Queen (if you're a female character, this helps, if not you must repeat the massage ten times and wear a helm that blocks your face entirely)

-Let you hit 99 times from the Iron Maiden prisoner and you'll get 100% immunity to poison

-In 2-2, go first counterclockwise through the caves, then walk back(walk not run!) towards the AS AS. From there go right following the shortcut towards the boss, stand for 35 seconds beside Scirvir's Vine bottles and then sprint towards the slope and try to roll as far away as possible. After landing and breaking all your bones, you'll get revived as a Giant Bearbug in soul-form and can freely mow down enemies. Also, you obviously won't get damaged by walking on the lava.

-In 3-2 stand in the middle of the bosses' bridge and try to use the wave emote 15 times, after that you'll fly. Really, I'm not kidding.

You're probably seeing people on New Game +/++, etc.

Since I saw one there on launch day one at like 2pm EST and it took 4 hits to kill them I am pretty sure it wasn't someone on new game plus ;p.
