Got my Amazon "your order has shipped" email at 2:53pm EST.
Mine's on the way, can't wait!

..still waiting for "Amy" from GameStop to call me. Then I can laugh as she says something like this, "Hi! It's Amy from GameStop! You're game *male voice* Demon's Souls *end male voice* will be available tomorrow! Have a great day!"
And then I can laugh at the funny announcement while I get really excited. If she doesn't call, I'll be paying GameStop a little visit tomorrow asking why she didn't! ..while I pick up my game (that they better have waiting for me).

Hmm.. does anyone know what "New status: Preorder Processing" means on videogamesplus.ca ? Got the mail at 3:52 pm (GMT+1 Switzerland).
Oh well, not that it matters too much since A. got the game already and B. takes a good 10-15 days till it hits my mailbox.

Save yourself the trouble, it ships tomorrow, so either the UPS center has it and it'll arrive tomorrow, or it'll arrive wednesday. Either way the shipments will come in around 11-2 usually, so don't stand outside in the cold waiting to be disappointed.

Well my order from GS has shipped... unfortunately they only shipped the artbook so it looks like I won't be getting the game until wednesday. -_-
I don't get why they are shipping it separately though, doesn't seem very cost effective.

Actually most Amazon customers went with release day shipping which means it will arrive on the 6th.

Yeah mine will probably be waiting for me by the time I get home from work, so I don't even have to deal with annoying Gamestop employees (or sales tax) :p

Unfortunately the postal service tried to deliver a Special Delivery Signed For parcel while I wasn't here a couple of hours ago, and now I have to wait 24 hours before I can collect it from the post office.
I want it to be Demon's Souls because nothing else I've ordered fits the delivery type, but at the same time the fact I missed it, and the idea of actually receiving a game on a US release date, is spacing me out a bit.

I hope this game isn't... THAT... hard... As in, I hope I don't lose my mind in a hateful haze of anger and controller-tossing. I have been very cranky and impatient lately.
Also, not to be gross, but who do I have to bring to high physical pleasure levels before I can start new threads? No offense, but this is kind of silly. I'm sure it's to prevent spam, but... it's a little off-putting.

I've used it quite a few times but I cant recall how long it takes for pre-orders to arrive.
My friend who also uses it regularly thinks that it will take about 4 days. So I'm hoping by saturday at least... as opposed to 2 whole weeks :(
I do think 4 days is a bit too optimistic.

My copy shipped yesterday at 2:53 pm and I just received it today at 9:00am! :) Can't play it until I'm done with class today. :(
Just got the deluxe edition in the mail about 20 minutes ago. Too bad my repaired PS3 doesn't come in the mail until tomorrow! :(
Guess I'll just have to pass the time mulling over the strategy guide : )

I just read about someone from my country (Norway) who got one of their shipment after just four days. Maybe if we're lucky...!

Usually takes from 7-14 days to get it from videogamesplus.ca to Switzerland, so I think it's not all too different for Barcelona.

That's quite reassuring :) And if I remember correctly, they were kinda slow with shipping when I ordered Persona 4, but now that they shipped it on time maybe I'll get it by the end of the week. Or right after, that's good too, except that my vacation will be over by then :(

I got mine at 4pm or so, finally home at 8pm to try it out, but I made the mistake of seeing if my PS3 needed a system update. Oh well. It'll be done soon.
I still don't get why I can't create new threads.
Anyone try it out? Reports on the difficulty level? Is there an easy mode? :) I've been looking through the strategy guide and trying to avoid spoilers.

i got my game 11:30 am from gamestop. there are no difficulty. i died like over 15 times from area 1-2, 1-3. the dragon makes me mad and the tower knight

Preordered 2 Deluxe Editions quite some time ago from Gamestop. I'm a regular there (I have no car, and I work in the mall, so it's about the only place I can get games), and I called today to see if they had them. They only got 3 DEs (2 were mine) and one regular copy in. They said the artbook was packaged with the game, but I'm a bit scared now, because you guys are saying it's seperate. And I'm not going back to work until Thursday, and I'm not making a special bus trip up there.
Meh. I'm still playing the import copy anyway, so the NA release can wait a few days.
Also, it's funny you guys get Amy from Gamestop calling you. I always get Ashley.

the game shipped and every other gamestop around me got their shipment according to the guy who works there, but somehow ours went bye bye and i have to wait even more, all because UPS didn't bring it for some dumb reason. i have to waste my only day off now to go pick it up. i was so mad i wanted to go to UPS and choke somebody.

I got my Asian copy today, it only took 5 working days to the east coast of Australia from Hong Kong. 8 days in total.
Love the game so far.

:O That's incredibly quick. Theres been some postal trouble in the UK lately so that might slow us down (hopefully not too much). But really Im hoping for some sort of miracle so that it will arrive tomorrow.
Many Finns got Demon's Souls from VG+ today (in 3-4 days, depends how you calculate). Unfortunately I wasn't the one. Maybe next week then.
