Katsuragi Misato Houdou Keikaku, (Translated as "The Misato Katsuragi News Project" in English) is not a game, but rather a news program for the Playstation 3 themed after the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. In the program, Evangelion character Misato Katsuragi serves as news anchor and delivers real news with her voice provided by special voice synthesizer software. Users of the program have the ability to choose from a variety of Evangelion locations as backdrops and can customize Misato's hairstyle and clothing. The base program comes with only a few customization items; the rest must be purchased from the Playstation Store on PSN. The Misato Katsuragi News Project went live in Japan on June 6, 2009 and was developed by Namco Bandai and Cellius.

I laughed when I first read about this. The only way I'd be interested is if Kotono's voice was used :tongue:.

Still, I never got the impression that it would deliver (U.S.) local news. And...would you seriously pay for this?

I wish SOMEONE would bring over the Evangelion games... (even if we had to start with this lol I like Misato.. but like her Japanese VA better than Allison too..)

This caught my eye. Cellius a company owned by Sony and Bandai Namco. From making the PS3 to this Ken Katuragi(he got reassigned after it failing expectations) has really fallen far off lol.
