This is a trivial thread so stop reading here if you don't feel like helping someone today.

I can't seem to find a picture of the Blueblood Sword from Demon's Souls. Does anyone know where I can find one? Or better yet if anyone has it on there import version of their game, maybe you could take a picture? This is just to satisfy my curiosity so don't feel obliged to bend over backwards trying to find one.

Thanks.

Last one under straight swords. Its not the best IMO by any means.

I've been using it alot with my 9th character.

The best thing about it, is you can buff it with either Turpentine, Sticky White Stuff, or any of the Magic Weapon Spells (Cursed Weapon being the strongest). This increases the damage it dishes out, by a considerable amount!

It's very quick as well, and doesn't use a great deal of stamina.

Granted, it's probably not as good a something like a Moon Uchigatana +5 (depending on Magic stats of course), but it's still a very decent weapon!

Probably the best of the standard straight swords. Damage scales with Strength, Magic, Faith and Luck (!) if I remember correctly. I like Straight swords for the sweeping dash attack.

Buffed with Light or Cursed Weapon and it's hilariously powerful. The downside is you use up the Pureblood Demon's Soul, which you could use for 3 other things, 2 of which are vastly more helpful in the long run.

Thanks. I've been looking over weapons and demon souls im still not quite sure how to decide which ones are the most effective to use. Example: a fully upgraded Makoto Katana seems like it would dish out alot of damage but is the "lose 1% hp per 2 sec" worth it?

What's the best way to tell if a weapon is good or worth it? Also, is the Demon's Souls wiki page complete for armor? (seems a bit lacking imo)

Depends how you wanna play the game.

For example; the Makoto +5 was a huge favourite of mine, it's terrific for PvP because of the 600 Bleed stat, but it does mean you need to wear the Regen Ring to counteract the HP drain. That ring slot may be needed for something more useful, plus that doesn't fully stop the drain, it only slows it (you'd need the Adjudicators Shield, also for full effect).

But! Something like a Moon or Crescent Uchigatana +5, with decent Magic stats (say 30-ish) will do way more damage! And wouldn't require the 5 Colourless Demons souls, which are a pain to source. And, that's only one type of weapon we're discussing - the Katana. There are countless more options!

Your best bet is to try them all. :-D It's the only way to know what you're comfortable with. Loads of players immediately go for the North Regalia, because on paper it has the highest stats - 135 x 4 = 540! (with pure character tendancy). But for me, it's way too heavy and slow, and the range is pish!

End of the day, it's really down to personal preference. Go! Experiment! Unless you don't have the game yet. In which case: stop studying! :P

I love the Blueblood sword, but you need to have a character with a very high luck stat(40-ish) if you want to outperform some of the "better" weaponry.

Best part is, like CUR715 already mentioned, that it's a plain blade - no magical affinity, means, you can easily choose your poison(magic or fire) for whatever works best on specific situations.

A very high luck stat coupled with "cursed weapon" make this one of the most deadly light swords in the game.
