I heard about this just now, and I don't even know if it's real.

I put it on this board because it might be a special edition of P1 PSP... already. Does anybody know anything about this?

Too bad I can't read Japanese...So it says Persona special Edition or something? Maybe it's basically an international version where the cutscenes are voiced. That may seem negligible, but Nocturne has gotten three renditions with even smaller changes, and no one complained about that.

If that's true, it would blow... an SE for the port(or is it a remake, I dunno, I'll just use port liberally here.) of a PS1 that is made recently... I wouldn't like that, if at all.

The only readable part says "Persona Maniacs"
The half sentence above it is a little too hard to decipher because it's both cut off and blurry. Is there a better picture of this flier? Maybe I could figure out what it's about.

Well, the international version of FF12 came out in Japan only a few months after the US version, so it's not like stuff like this hasn't happened before.

Its the Maniax edition of Persona Portable. That picture is from Famitsu, who just announced it this month. Its coming out in Japan early 2009. Lets see if ATLUS USA will surprise us, seeing as we missed out on the SMT Nocturne MANIAX CHRONICLE EDITION/SMT: Devil Summoner RK vs KA PLUS :D

If it's in reference to P3's Maniacs difficulty, then why isn't "3" anywhere to be found on this picture?

Oh well... judging from the complete lack of buzz, it's probably nothing. A new game or new version of the just-released port would be creating some discussion... at the very least, some complaints over how this is too soon and whatnot.
