Are the dungeons changed at all?

I'm sure this is probably already answered somewhere else. I'm just not finding it.

Anyway, I saw something on the webpage indicating that the dungeons had "new floors" or something, but that section isn't open yet. My only real problem with P1 is that the dungeons really weren't up to par with like, later SMT games and that the layouts were... well, a tad bit random looking. Have the dungeon layouts been redesigned at all in the remake?

The dungeon layouts haven't changed much from what I've seen; this is having played the Japanese version up to partway through Deva Yuga. The main change I've seen is that some floors have been adjusted a bit to accommodate new save points (and even item shops...), but for the most part they're not that different and I was still finding my way through Karma Palace mostly by memory.
