9.89/10 -- It loses 1/10 of a point because of the (very) occasional crashes, 1/100 of a point because calling Baldr 'Beldr' just to fit their weird Throne of the Bels story and making him into some kind of demon lord was beyond ridiculous. Other than that it was perfect; great demons, great story and characters, amazing music, and tough as frickin' nails without ever even resorting to mudo and hama spammage. I was a little disappointed in the auction system, but only because there was a lot more they could have done with it (if auctions had lasted longer you could have identified certain bidders who exhibited different patterns, such as notorious high rollers or snipers with deep pockets and then adjusted your bidding strategy to beat them), not because there was anything wrong. Now the crown jewel of the game was the last battle against Babel... I don't think I've ever seen a more unfair fight; 7 bosses without a save?! Luckily I was able to rip the Bels to shreds with my MC (took down Belberith in one fight sequence, lol). Babel was another story though... :devil:
