Weakness Icon?

Do you ever get to see 'weakness' or 'null' ala Persona icon when you use an attack that the enemy is weak against? I love finding and using an Elemental weakness against an enemy. I have an Alchemist with analysis yet nothing. Does that happen in EO II?

I don't think I ever used Analysis. It should be obvious what *mos* monsters are weak against. If not, FAQs are your friends, if you let them be.

There's no icon to tell you that you've exploited a weakness. You have to gauge it for yourself. And Analysis doesn't show weaknesses, it magnifies the damage from exploiting them (up to ~150%, I think).

As others have said, it never shows, but it is obvious when you exploit a weakness or use an attack a monster is strong against. Just watch the damage output from various attacks.
