So what does everyone think about the return to Kaneko-sama's SNES SMT demon designs? Obviously since this is a return to 2-D graphics he couldn't use the exact newer models from Nocturne but some demons are obviously quite different in appearance, having returned to the exact forms that are featured in his marker-drawn KK Works I and II books. Some demons that had not appeared in Nocturne at all also reappeared from the pages of history. Most importantly (and unfortunately), the bondage angel was replaced by her former modest and serene form! I appreciate seeing some of the old favorites back but I'm still a little conflicted over the change from the decidedly more bad-ass demons of Nocturne to the classics of yesteryear. Perhaps it was a conscious decision so that they could maintain the popular Teen rating for DS games?

The main target for SMT is till Japan. I doubt Atlus Japan cares very much at all what rating it will receive in the US.

But anyway, I thought some demons looked great, but some looked terrible, like Lilith. Her design is good ol' Lilith, but her lines are huge and honestly it looks like I could have coloured it with basic brushes in GIMP.
