So, the rebirth items (Made through melting three PomPoms, Class Rings, or Sealed Diaries) can be used with pretty much any equipment to make a "guide" which can then be fused with a weapon to create what almost seems like a glitch in the naming. :P
Seems they've narrowed it down to Weapons transfering ranges to each other. (EG Hand Axe with the range of a Great Axe.) But hadn't found anything for armor.
Is there a point to These things outside this, and the ability to revert them into their base equipment. (Losing whatever Rebirth items were used to make the guide.)

Well... Imagine if you would, that in CoH, there were 3D models of your characters. Now, in this 100% imaginary world, perhaps you'd appreciate the game's ability to give you a weapon with the functionality of a great axe that looked like a hand axe.
We can alllllll dream, can't we?

:P The ranges are a nice feature, but I was more asking if there was any effect to the guides for armor.
People who had tested it a fair bit couldn't find anything, so I figured maybe asking the folks who had the code could yield a normally hidden result.

Rednusander actually answered your question, but in a very cryptic way...
And cryptic it will stay.
But I will say this, I wouldn't waste your time looking. There's nothing to find.

Heh, so that veins been thoroughly mined then.
Ah well, thanks for the answers.

I do believe some status resistance, enemy race affinity and/or bonus skills are also transferable but it's a long time since I've played. So not so sure just putting this out there though.
