How long did it take you to get your farmed omnipotent orb?

I was just wondering how long it took people to get their farmed omnipotent orb out of messiah...

I've been trying twice a day since january 2009, and still nothing...

Is it even worth it once you get armageddon (9999 damage to everything) and victory cry (restore after successful battle)?

Oh wow, you've been doing this for 7 months? You do realize it's like a 1% chance, right?

No, it's not needed. I built up high enough to get Messiah as well and Armageddon and the fight with Nyx was a cakewalk. You definitely don't need the Orb.

I ended up just giving up on the orb, and at level 99, nyx is quite simple to defeat.

Maybe one of these days illl go back and try to farm it again, but defeating elizabeth might just be the "easier" way to go :)

I got one in the Journey, and two in the Answer.

It's easy enough to fuse Messiah even without a compendium, after all. I was mainly farming for Armors of Light, Shoes of Light, and the Aura Dog Suit for the lil' doggie... It took me a while to realize that the Swan Legs and the Soul Of Athena armor are not part of the Messiah drops in the Answer, and the two orb gains were a result of the aforementioned futile pursuit.

How long? With the 206 hours I put in for the Answer, I already forgot.

I gave up on getting it through Messiah, and just beat Elizabeth for it.
