you know in day seven in naoyas course there is a moment where it say somethng of the fallen star and the apears a gigantic badass devil known as lucifer is level 99 :o anti all and after a while evolves and changes his skills which is really bad :surprise:, i made it to get all to lvl 99 but its still not enough to kill that montroisity, so anyone knows how to beat him??? ive died about 6 or 7 times against him and my biggest problem is that i run out of mana to keep healing myself and attacking so its really a hard battle, I hate to say it, but I NEED HELP!!!

It's an optional boss. If you can't win now, try it on your NG+.

I'm trying to go through Nayoa's route (Being a jerk to everyone so I should be able to get it)
Now I realize it's "Optional" But I don't want to run into it accidentily. How do I avoid it?

after you beat belzaboul keep going to the clock ones and you wont have to face him

BTW ive already beat him took me about 13 15 deaths but if you attack fast enough you'll make him bend down real quick so i guess there is no more point in the thread =D

i do really suggest you use zandyne and ziodine for the first part of him plus a ban ice or ban fire or ban phys so you dont get damage in his first form.

after that he starts using megidoalon and megidoiadyne so its very useful that your demons are tyrants to make his turns lower so he doesnt attack very much in the second form.

and in the third form it must be an all out attack using zan since he starts refusing phys and fire and ice and i forgot if nulls or reflects zio in third form.

I'm trying an "anti-lucifer" team by giving the MC Phys, fire, and Ice repel ; giving Black Frost "Wall" and Yuzu Ice and fire drain with ban phys

But the Abbadons with thair ultimate range and high movement give me no chance :(

Uh, instead of using elemental spells, you can just spam Holy Dance. It's a lot more effective since it just cuts through all his defenses.

Phys Repel and Elec Drain on all demons who will be in a party that attacks Lucifer, Phys Repel and Elec Drain on your human with the best MA and AG stats. Phys Drain and Null Elec on your second best human determined by MA and AG stats. Try to get 40 MA and 30 + AG on your demons with Mitamas.

Have a Tyrant or two. Loki and Astaroth are best before you can actually get Lucifer himself. Kishin + Tyrant group setup will help push his move order back and let you pretty much lock him down which you will need to survive long enough to kill him in his third form, since his Megidoladyne increases in damage every time he uses it until it will eventually 1 hit kill every one of your units on the map.

Holy Dance + Drain + Samarecarm / Prayer / Mediarahan depending on what the group needs. Good idea to have 1 healer and 2 that can resurrect.

If you have a third open passive slot, give Victory Cry (fuse from Metatron) or Mana Aid (easier to get). You will really run out of MP since it's a long fight and Lucifer can cast Drain to steal yours, so these are needed skills. Blood Wine from Metatron can help.

Alternatively, the Recarm strategy. Take 2 or more teams with PHYSICAL attackers who don't Repel Phys as the human team leaders, along with magic-based demons that have higher AG than the team leader. Give 1 demon a regular "Recarm" ability to resurrect their target with lower health, and give another Diarahan so they can full heal one of the demons but not the team leader.

The idea is to have the demons damage Lucifer with Holy Dance, then have the group leader reflect physical damage onto themselves to suicide.

The next group will Recarm that leader. Since recently resurrected teams go next for some reason, you setup an easy loop where the demons do damage and the group leader suicides. For example, let's say you have Kaido and a Phys based Main Character.

Let's say Kaido goes first, and MC goes second.

Kaido turn -> Attack Lucifer (Holy Dance (demon1), Holy Dance (demon2), Deathbound (Kaido))

Demons are faster than Kaido, so they do damage and Kaido eventually kill himself with reflected damage. Turn over.

Main Character turn -> Demon casts Recarm on Kaido, making him the one who gets next turn. Attack Lucifer (Holy Dance (demon1), Holy Dance (demon2), Hassohoppa (Main Character))

Again, demons faster than MC do their damage and the MC kill himself with reflected damage.

Kaido turn -> Demon casts Recarm on MC, making the MC's turn next in line. Loop until he dies.

question about the recarm stratergy...
here goes...you talked about reflecting damage upon the Leaders emself but does that only work in his last form or...?...cuz im always stuck at the second form and when im into his third he cast megidoiadyne on the FIRST turn i get in an KO-es mai MC...which is troublesome as it happened a few times...daahh im in a dilema!

Yes, that only applies to the third form when he Repels physical. The first and second form should be easy as long as you have the recommended skill setup and make sure he doesn't use Megidoladyne multiple times by just attacking it repeatedly. With the recommended skill set and a lot of Repel Phys units in your attacking teams, the second form practically kills itself with Hassohoppa.

The third form takes a long time to kill whereas the first and second do not.

hmmm the only problem is that i get pushed to being last in line for attack alot :l which really pisses me off
