Steambot Chronicles Battle Tournament has been out for a while now and so it is no surprise that a lot of sites have posted their reviews based on this title.

And when it comes to reviews, metacritic is the best. Here is the link: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/psp/steambotchroniclesbattletournament

My PSP is out of service for the moment so I have not been able to play for myself, but from what I have read the game is pretty fun. There is a drawback unfortunately and it has been expressed by all reviewers. The game gets repetitive; so repetitive in fact that it might prevent folks from ever finishing it. Hopefully it is not as bad as ign says: ‘If it weren't for the painful amount of repetition and the grindy nature of everything, Steambot Chronicles: Battle Tournament probably would have been a lot more fun. The more I played, though, the less I liked it, and by the end I just wanted it all to be over.’
Still, on a more positive note: ‘If you loved the first Steambot Chronicles or if you're in the mood for a GTA-light/Armored Core-light game that's aimed at a younger audience then I would suggest that you should pick this title and pray that Atlus will release the PS3 sequel.’ - ZTGameDomain
Frankly, I am still excited about this one and I cannot wait to play it next week.

Woohoo! I'll be playing this game as soon as it hits the mail-box. Can't wait to recustomized my old trot, back the way I had it.

I wish some people would get on reviewing this a little quicker...

This game is pretty fun so far. (I'm only at C-ranks battles, too distracted by replaying DDS 1 & 2.)

The localization is, as always I've found with Atlus, top-notch. It's always amusing to play through as a girl and hit on the mechanic. Her reactions are really funny.

The battle system....is so-so. It's fun, but get's frustrating later on. Every time you target and do a...how to say it...medium to major attack, like picking up your opponent and throwing them, you have to manually re-target, which get's reeeeaaaly annoying when combined with the camera angles. I've died far more than once because of the target/camera problem, but on the plus side every once and awhile the opponent AI goes stupid and you can take advantage of it. :)

The missions/jobs get kinda repetitive, and usually aren't very difficult, so don't expect too much of of that aspect. Then again, I may change my mind later on in the game about it (hopefully).

At the moment, on a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 7.5

EDIT: Haha, my first newb post! :D
