Steambot Chronicles Battle Tournament has been out for a while now and so it is no surprise that a lot of sites have posted their reviews based on this title.
And when it comes to reviews, metacritic is the best. Here is the link: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/psp/steambotchroniclesbattletournament
My PSP is out of service for the moment so I have not been able to play for myself, but from what I have read the game is pretty fun. There is a drawback unfortunately and it has been expressed by all reviewers. The game gets repetitive; so repetitive in fact that it might prevent folks from ever finishing it. Hopefully it is not as bad as ign says: ‘If it weren't for the painful amount of repetition and the grindy nature of everything, Steambot Chronicles: Battle Tournament probably would have been a lot more fun. The more I played, though, the less I liked it, and by the end I just wanted it all to be over.’
Still, on a more positive note: ‘If you loved the first Steambot Chronicles or if you're in the mood for a GTA-light/Armored Core-light game that's aimed at a younger audience then I would suggest that you should pick this title and pray that Atlus will release the PS3 sequel.’ - ZTGameDomain
Frankly, I am still excited about this one and I cannot wait to play it next week.
