Since we have one for everything else, and I really wanted to share this story, I'll create this just in case there's an interest from others wanting to share odd/funny news stories they find.

I'm with the children on this one.
Me too. While as a kid, I didn't find clowns scary, I didn't find them funny either.
As an adult, looking at them now, I can see why children are scared, i'm a little creeped out myself.
Every see that movie, Killer Klowns from Outer Space? :P

OMG.....The one where the space ship was a giant circus tent, the clowns encased people in cotton candy cocoons and drank their blood?
And the only way to kill them was by shooting them in the nose?

Absolutely. One of my mother's favorite movies, I was little when I first saw it so I couldn't comprehend how corny it was.

I never understood this fear of clowns so many people have these days. They're just people dressed and acting like fools for entertainment. Even after seeing Killer Klowns From Outer Space as a child I was never scared of them.

The kids WANT to see ass on Tv! At least I did when I was a kid...
The part that actually gets me the most about this, is that it was originally aired in 2003, and no one had a problem with it. Now in 2008, it's suddenly become a huge ####ing problem. Have we seriously regressed a as society?
Also, didn't David Caruso show his ass in NYPD Blue as well(as did a few minor male characters)? Why is that OK, but not when a woman does it? Feminist groups are always crying about sexism, so where are they now? Having it be OK for a man to show nudity, but not a woman, is pretty ####ing sexist.
I like how people are so quick to point fingers and say liberals want to censor you and blah blah blah, yet most, if not all, of the special interest groups behind this BS are unltra-conservative.
Anyway, I favor nudity on regular Tv. Maybe not genitals, but tits and ass are OK in my book.
The agency rejected the network's argument that "the buttocks are not a sexual organ."
Are my ass cheeks used for reproduction? No? Then it's not a sexual organ, you asshole.

Either way, this legislation is garbage. It just further perpetuates the nanny state that everyone seems to enjoy nowadays.
Solving the obesity problem by creating legislation that restricts the rights of restaurants is not the answer. The responsibility lies on each individual's decision to eat disgusting amounts of food each day and not on the restaurants that serve the food.
When there is demand, there will be someone satiate that demand. It is the way the economy works, but hell if our state and federal governments will ever figure that out.

02-06-2008, 09:01 PM
Shawn Marion is my favorite player right now, I hate the heat...
here are my rants I posted elswhere on the whole trade:
Traded, WHY!?!?!?!
Check out this list of Suns ALL-TIME leader numbers, and look at how many lists Marion is already in the top 5. With 2-5 more years he would be Phoenix's all time minuets played, field goals made, 3 points made and attempted, Rebounds, he would be close on steals (pass up KJ at least #2), Blocked shots... the list goes on!
Most those records are in comparison to his season average of last year ( http://www.nba.com/suns/stats/2006/index.html ) which wasnt even his best year as well. He would have most those records beat in 2-3 but just giving him 4 or 5 would seal the deal and would be an instant Sun icon, let alone would have a chance with a ring with Phoenix, something Barkley, KJ, Thunder Dan and others never got!
Dosent anyone else feel saddened by his loss! I went to my first ever basketball game this year and saw him play with the suns... never again.
WHY!!!!!! For shaq and 2 years of decent play from him. No way can he put up career numbers or anywhere close...
this was a message to my friend:
My favorite player is traded to one of my LEAST favorite teams for one of my LEAST favorite players...
I dont even know what to say about it. I loved phoenix up until this point but now all these recent actions are just too much. Bringing in Grant Hill is one thing, I dont care if you want to bring in some older talent to help out with a role or whatever, but getting rid of a MAJOR part of the teams history in the past 8 years for a quick win? Tacky.
"The UNLV product owns career averages of 18.4 points and 10.0 rebounds in 660 games (647 starts). The four-time All-Star is second in minutes played in franchise history (24,948), fourth in points (12,134), second in rebounds (6,616), second in steals (1,245) and third in blocked shots (894)."
He was on his way to being a classic and remembered Phoenix Sun. Up there with KJ, Thunder Dan, and those players.
That has been ripped away from me, the chance of a franchise player, and even worse for Marion now losing his history with not enough time left to do that with another team, ESPECIALLY in terrible Miami.
I HATE it. I'm going to cheer for phoenix through the end of the year, but them im taking my fan bags somewhere else...
BEST case scenario in the next off season: Isiah Thomas is fired, Starbury is traded, Marion ends up in New York, Van Gundy is re-hired, a few more trade possibilities, and Im back where I should be in good old New York.
Even if the suns win, itll feel cheap and undeserved with Shaq there. We'll see how he plays, 20 mins a game causing some mismatches here and there could be good for the suns, but yeah...

Garnett to boston though, you dont like what hes doing there? Hes got talent around him and they are winning like crazy! Sure its not on the team that drafted him and built around but..
I do, but it is still hard. I wanted that in Minnesota. We had one of the all time greatest forwards, we couldn't build a team around, we drafted poorly (we could have had Artest and Rip Hamilton in the same draft from our Marbury trade), the Joe Smith debacle, we signed stupid players, Mchale is a joke of a GM, damn I could go on and on. It just sucks, we had a guy who wanted to stay in Minnesota, liked it here, was loyal, and was a good guy. That is rare.
It is also hard because the Boston area has been a funnel for Minnesota athletes. David Ortiz, KG, and indirectly Randy Moss.

yeah, I liked the last run Garnett/Cassell/Sprewell team that made it past the first round. Thats because Im a Sprewell fan though. Garnett is a good guy, and being loyal is defiantly rare.

I havent watched a Knicks game in 3 years, maybe more. I HATE Isiah Thomas and the fact that he still isnt fired is amazing. Bad deals, too many old players at first, then too many has-beens with large contracts, then nothing after that! He has ruined them. Once he is gone and we FINALLY rebuild I will watch.
Cassell wants to coach after hes done, which is cool. I hear he wants to go to like Dallas or San Antonio or Phoenix and win one with a team off the bench this year then retire. That would be neat.

haha, I know. I hear they are just going to throw someone else in instead and possibly more money then deal with George later. What a bum. His agent says it isnt because he dosent want to play in New Jersey, its because he dosent want to lose his Larry Bird Clause that would allow Dallas to pay him more over salary cap to keep him when it comes to resigning him... Which I highly doubt they would of done anyway.
Oh well, I still think Kidd will end up in Dallas. That would be a team to watch again.

Like I said in a previous thread, we 'maybe' had 6 on school fights the whole year. So seeing stuff like this is foreign to me.
I actually went to high school in California. My high school has one of the highest scores in the district, but also has a bunch of people who're high. Definitely weird. But the so-called emos are organizing, too. Last week, they demonstrated against the violence, pictured above, and Wednesday some met with police in Mexico City.
"They're organizing to defend their right to be emo," wrote Daniel Hernandez of LA Weekly on his personal blog, which has provided stellar coverage of the whole affair.
Wow, it's a good thing that Mexico has apparently solved all of its other problems.

"It's a great cluster#### for the American mind's idea of Mexico," Arellano said. "This teaches the rest of the world that Mexico is not just a bunch of cactuses and sombreros."
Yup they have Tequila and Emo beatings too. That will show all of us stuck up Americans

What the hell...
The trend now is for men to look like they want to be fed and/or devoured by women.
I plan on breaking as many small Japanese men as I can next spring. Good times.

The best part about this story, is that Darwinism took this retard out before she could grow up and have a negative affect on society. Now if only it was able to do the same with her parents.
Hey, Slaughter, stricter gun control, amirite? Irresponsible parents are not an issue here.

Hey guys, don't be such downers. Those 1/3 of prisoners that are in there because of non-violent marijuana-related charges are a danger to society, and must be kept off the streets due to public safety and the budget of the private prison system.

Pros and cons to the idea for sure mimi. Yes the violent weed smokers of America maybe should be released early, but the others? Be interesting to see what happens.

Crazy age. For as long as I have been crazy about games Shoe has been involved every month in my life for 11 years. Thats a long time. Yes I did think he was biased and cocky and now a whiny bitch that EGM isnt the most circulated, but he still has a strong opinion that is very much his own.

You gotta love this.
I can't remember decapitating anyone in a single hitman game out of the whole series. Or blowtorching anyones hands and feet. Now see, had he blamed Manhunt, the decapitation would be a bit more believable.
All in all, it's another scape goat for a psychotic mind-####ed chump who can't take proper responsibility for being a ####ing idiot. It's bad enough this #### happens, but then video games have to get drug into it.
Also...

I actually would've thought of Manhunt above anything else. There's a death scene where you saw off a guy's head using fiber wire.

Also one where you decapitate fellows using an axe/machete, and in 2 one where you saw a guys head off with a buzzsaw. Yeah, I'm a big Manhunt fan. I'm a big fan of ultra gore (In games/movies) in general.

WHAT ####ING CENTURY DO WE LIVE IN?

I live a short ride outside of NYC. All my life I've been hearing about this asinine Yankees Vs Red Sox rivalry, and every year it gets more and more ridiculous. It's easy to say, "oh, this is just for fun," but you'd be wrong. The people who engage is this #### are dead ####ing serious. Red Sox fans fully believed they were cursing the new Yankee stadium; and this shirt was dug up with the full belief that a real curse was being stopped. These people actually believe this ####.

"The first thought was, you know, it's never a good thing to be buried in cement when you're in New York," Levine said. "But then we decided, why reward somebody who had really bad motives and was trying to do a really bad thing?"
That is one of the dumbest things I have ever read.
They are looking for every excuse they can to make this justifiable without sounding crazy.
