So, after waiting so long to get my hands on this game, I've finally got it. These kinds of things are always tricky. If you've been playing games for a while, it's actually very few games that meet the hype. However....
....I haven't played past the tutorial and it seems to me that Knights has actually managed to do something that is increasingly rare - distinguish itself through its play mechanics.
Having only played through the First Stages and looking through the tutorial and tips, its plenty apparent that Knights will be unlike many games. I'm going back to it right now to play it in earnest, but so far, I'm already very happy with at least the effort to try and do something new.
P.S. - Does the orb collecting aspect of the game remind anyone else of Ikaruga, but the way?

I'm just starting out too. Amazing the depth in this game.. gonna take a while to learn.
:o Super pretty, and incredibly unique.. can't say i've ever played anything even remotely close to it. Back to the tutorials! (of which there are MANY)

I know what you mean. This is honestly the first game where I'm actually paying attention to almost everything the tutorial is telling me. I want to start playing but I don't feel like I've learned it well enough to start... BTW I'm starting on normal cuz I don't like starting on easy.

I just created an account because of this game. I'm playing right now, have about 1 hour and 25 minutes in, and it is REALLY REALLY cool when you pull off a badass kill and know what you are doing! :)

At first the game seemed really dull and boring. But with its titles and amazing graphics I forced myself to read all the somewhat long tips, hints, basics, and all the rest. After about the third battle I became really 'with it'. It started becoming amazingly fun. Anyways I've also played several games like Golden Sun, Fire Emblem, and all those other awsome games but this one is different then them all. I mean some DS games you don't even stylus now im just starting.

Well, the story's not going to sell you on the game, so no need to worry about spoilers.
It's more complicated than I care to explain here. Let's just say it's beautiful, unique, and deep. If you're interested in trying something different, this is the game to play. Takes a bit of getting used to. Steep learning curve, but very satisfying as it begins to click and you start to understand the game's subtleties.
I think it was well worth the price.

Check out the tutorial videos. Really, text can't do this game justice. You have to see it in motion to have a hope of comprehending it.

Well i watched all the tutorials along with the trailer. My opinion of it stands in a diffrent position, however i think it's a tad to complicated for me <.< not because i am somewhat of a dunce but because i don't understand how the icons of your weapons on the top right allow you to do super moves? Maybe i just misunderstood... :(

While the game is pretty difficult to understand in the beginning if you pay attention to the tutorials in the game you will pick up the contols in no time.
