hated spire for its roulette stats to create a character and the fact i couldnt just choose a character

i like choosing what characters i want

or if it has the roulette, will it be as not broken as in dark spire

The stats are randomly generated, not sure how quote unquote "Broken" they will be. As for choosing your own characters...What?

Erm, you can choose your own characters in Spire. I havn't got the game and even I know that.

I'm assuming by 'broken', you mean random, and I heard that the stats upgrades upon lvl up is less random in CoH than it was in DS. Still not entierly sure what your beef with DS was though... :confused:

Stats upgrade in DS ar not random. I think they tend to compensate: i.e. you get +21 HP on one level upgrade, you're gonna get a low number the next time. You had three "+1"s on a row? Well have faith, sooner or later you'll get a huge HP upgrade.

i meant more like the roulette on stats when you created your characters

when you were creating your characters you had to do this roulette to determine what stats your characters had and it determined what class they were. i want to decide what class each of my characters had before deciding their stats

Ah, that. Yes, that's in the game - it's a genre staple after all. Two ways to counter it though, keep on rerolling until you get the stats you want or just level up until you can class change into the class you want.

It'll only take a few minutes of your time, and you could end up getting a character with awesome/bizzare starting stats, so why worry? It's all part of the fun.

from what i can tell in heroes, you get a random number for a character and you add stats to said character with that characers total number and whatever stats you end up with, thats what classes your character can choose

example: i have a human with every stat at 5 and i get 9 bonus points, if i put all my bonus stat points on attack, one of my choices will be warrior

That's the impression I got... but I'm not sure how many points you get and weather they're enough to make a major difference. Maybe it's something to ask Atlus when they post the blog later today.
