Beelzeboo? (Spoilers.)

At one point in the game Mr. Blonde Haired Man is referred to as "Beelzeboo" by the Mushibito, which Blonde Haired Man quickly recognizes as the name for "The Lord of Flies". Now it seems most logical that they're referring to Beelzebub, Lord of the Flies, who has made frequent appearances throughout MegaTen. What's not so obvious is why the name is spelled "Beelzeboo" rather than "Beelzebub". It does not appear to be an alternate spelling of the name, nor would that explain why an alternate spelling would be used anyway. Even his human form was previously called "Baal Zebul", so it doesn't even make sense to be a name used just to refer to a human Beelzebub. I have a hard time believing it was merely a mistake on Atlus' part either.

This question was brought up on another board and nobody could come up with a good answer, so I'm hoping someone from Atlus themselves can give a proper explanation, though if anyone else has any insight they could share it would be welcome.

I would have considered that it was merely the Mushibito's speech impediment, however Blonde Haired Man says it the same way. Plus even though the Mushibito like to jumble their words together they still seem pronounce everything fully, and "Beelzeboo" is missing the "B" sound at the end.

This. It's really not any more complicated. They say "Apoluawn" for "Apollyon," "Bellzeboo" for "Beelzebub," and "Pojitrawn" for... well, something else. (And this wasn't a fabrication on Atlus USA's part either, mind you; the Tento corrupted those same names, albeit maybe not in exactly the same way, in the original release.)

The Blonde Young Man says "Bellzeboo" because, IIRC, he's referring to what the Tento call him.

This is my guess:
Maybe Lucifer and Beelzebub are just share the same human appearance.
At the first fight with Lucifer in second playthrough, Beelzebub also appeared and his statement suggested that he is the blond young man, too.

Yeaaah. Also, in either chapter 6 or 7, if you talk to a certain character, they will recall a conversation they had with him and he'll reveal his name to be Louis Cypher.

It's generally believed to be the same person. It could be different in the SMT universe though.

Do every Fiend case file (You must talk the "Blonde Young Man" in the Catholic church first to get them.). Eventually a few case file pops up leading you to him (Assuming you did every case file the "blonde young man" gives you.).
