So...

Last year, Atlus came to AX (Anime Expo '08) and announced Persona 4. I don't think Atlus made an appearance at PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) last year. I am only planning on attending AX '09 one day this year and PAX for the full run. Assuming Atlus will at least be at AX this year, I'd like to make sure I buy my badge for that day. Is Atlus USA planning on making an appearance at either expo this year?

Both AX and E3 are in southern California, making them very convenient for us to get to. PAX is in Washington, and isn't so accessible for us.

I'm not saying anything like that. I'm saying that it's far easier for us to get to things that are local.
