Chapter 2 Location of Chief(spoilers)

Might anyone be able to tell me the location of the chief? I just got to the start of chapter 2 spent the night in the inn, listened to the 2 girls singing a song. read the minds of everyone and haven't been able to find the chief or anything. i'm basically at an impass and can't figure out how for the life of me to progress the main story line. any help anyone might be able to provide would be most appreciated.

Ok, it sounds like you're on the right track.

I assume you also got pass the guard blocking the stairs too, and into the forest? ....... Once you arrive at the mansion you got to keep talking to the woman in front, and using your mind read ability each time, eventually you'll get what you need for the chief.
