Grab them with CQC and use the knife kill, you can do exactly what you are asking for already.
Oh yeah thanks, I thought it must have a behind stealth kill, havn't played MGS for awhile.
A new addition to MGS3 is a better CQC (Close Quarters Combat). Snake can only use CQC moves when he is unarmed, or holding a small weapon like the Knife or Pistol. To take advantage of CQC moves, sneak up on the guards (or stalk them with your directional pad), then hit "O". "O" plus a direction on your control stick will cause you to throw an enemy down. Simply hitting "O" will put the enemy in a choke hold (hold "O" too hard and you'll kill the enemy). While you have someone in a choke hold, press L3 to interrogate him, or press "Square" to use the enemy as a shield. Tap "O" to snap an enemy's neck, or move the analog stick to move around with him.
If you sneak up on an enemy and point a gun at his back before he spots you, he'll throw his arms in the air. Aim your gun at different places on the guard's body and he'll shake out items for you. Also, once you take an enemy out, disarm and pick up his body with "Square". Release the body and an item should pop out.

It has been a while since I played it, but for some reason I remember save points very close to every boss. Maybe I am incorrect.

From the description it is probably the mimic queen, but I thought there was a save point near there. I am with Sayck on the save point issue. I never really had any problems with the save point spacing or proximity to bosses.

I'm stuck at the boss that keeps multiplying, first it turns into 2, then 4, that's when it kicks my ass...
There was no save point before this boss, or the boss before it (the 5 pumpkin kids or whatever), they do a good job of giving you a save point after the bosses (gotta love those fake ass save points that attack you too), but not right before.
Anyway I just left the area and went back to the first city to buy new weapons/armor and start doing some of the hunts. I stumbled across another Esper and got my ass kicked... but at least there was a save point close. :)

That's cool. Our gaming club at my school had a tournament last month. We played Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core, The King of Fighters XI, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The entrance fees went to charity, as well.
I'm pretty terrible at fighting games, so I usually just stick to Smash Bros., but maybe I'll give Arcana Heart a try sometime.

Since I'm the person contributing the other game this year, I'm going to suggest replacing Street Fighter II with Arcana Heart for our next meeting. You should give Arcana Heart a try if you have a bunch of friends. It's a weak experience on your own.

Its difficult comparing SF to GG, the pace is so much different and the characters are alot more unique.
I'd say try playing as Ky and or Sol (especially if you like Ken) they're the two shotos of GG, pretty easy to get into, but still alot of advanced stuff they can do.
If you liked playing as Guy/Makoto, i'd probably say go with Chipp.

I really like Blue Dragon. The downside is it has the most god awful boss theme in the history of video games. I was pretty surprised at the depth of the skill system when I played it. It's kind of cheesy, but charming. It also seems to have just the right amount of optional content for a game of its type.

Actually that was me Al. Blue Dragon isn't a bad game it just seems way to easy even with the downloaded hard modes. I felt like the only way to get a challenge from the game bosses was to actually avoind random encounters.

Other than that I have been progressing in FF12 (not story wise...). My characters were pretty crappy, I dunno how I came that far with them before running into a roadblock. I did some hunts (aka grinding) and stock piled up enough points to open licenses for better weapons and armor. Anyway I am gonna take that boss on again and see what happens...

If ur talkin about Wild Arms 5 then I'd say it's pretty easy and i'm bout 40 hours in. Theres a nice chunk of side quest and cameos for fans of the series. I have to agree with Xeo although I haven't finished it yet,but it's more enjoyable than WA 4. It was a explorable world map which sadly too many RPGS are lacking nowadays and the character interaction is nice and rather personable at times. Whenever you decide to play it you should enjoy yourself if ur a fan of the series cuz it feels like the superior IMO earlier games of the series.

Encountering a sort of reversal of predictions. Recently started both Baroque and Rondo of Swords. I'd been excited about the new things Rondo was bringing to the SRPG genre, while I was skeptical about Baroque because of the action-RPG game play.
I just can't seem to get into Rondo. I keep picking it up only to lose interest in it a short time later. Can't put my finger on exactly why this is, but it's happened consistently enough to know it's real. Baroque, on the other hand, has me captivated. I figured I'd play it for a little while, get frustrated and move on. How very wrong that was.
So much for starting out with pre-conceived notions.

GTAIV, which as has been said is a ####ing masterpiece. There's no other word for it really. I have absolutely nothing to complain about with the game, and it's went above and beyond every expectation I had for it. Bravo Rockstar, bravo. (I'm a huge Rockstar fan anyway, so I expected no less.)
Also, Mario Kart Wii. Also very impressed with this one. The online portion is by far the best online functionality experience on any first party Nintendo title. Loads of fun, and lots of laughs. Excellent game. Big Mario Kart/Nintendo fan, so again, I expected no less. But the online portion of SSBB left something to be desired, so I was weary.

i didnt like it it cuz i was kinda like 'where is the game?'. the controls were too lose and i couldnt get used to the way fighting was performed. story doesnt save a game from weak gameplay IMO.

A friend of mine picked it up recently, he didn't think it was that great either. I watched him play the beginning, I was pretty unimpressed too.
I watched IGN's video review on the game, and it actually looks pretty good. I think the main problem here is that nobody is giving this game a fair chance, try playing more than just an hour; it looks like alot of the cool stuff comes a little later into the game.
Otherwise, i'm still trying to get through Persona 3, just got into January. I'm also playing Arcana Hearts with friends from time to time.

*Rondo of Swords Spoilers*
Darn, I've unlocked all of the characters in Rondo of Swords (except Naji, as I chose the other path) except Alberich. I hope that I'll be able to unlock him on the new game after I finish this one. :? Has anyone else beat the game and started the new one yet?
World ends with you is a mess and very hard at the start, and it really paces the rat at which new systems are mentioned, so for instance, later on you get to retry fights you lose instead of it being an automatic gameover.
I also thought it was terrible when I started playing it, but it gets quite a bit more involved a little ways in. Also, the combat takes a bit of practice to follow what is going on in both screens at the same time.
A lot of people I see that hated the game, also say that they tried it for 5 minutes or an hour and figured out they hated it. It really needs a little more time than that, but, Imho, it does pick up.
I think, right now, at around half of it, that its one of my favorite DS games.

The World Ends With You is on its happy way back to gamefly. That games is a major ####ing Fail
What didn't you like about it, or did it not have any redeeming qualities at all?
Ok, First let me point out that i don't think its a bad game in general. For ME this game is a fail but i suspect a lot of other people will like it. Heres a run down of my impression.
Visuals- First off we all know Tetsuya Nomura has some pretty out there characters designs. This time i swear the dude must have smoked something before he started his designs. Cutscenes are handled comic book/ Manga style which i hate. Overall visually it felt like i was playing the Air Gear anime/manga (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Gear).
Gameplay- There is a whole hell of a lot of #### going on in this game. Now i like having a lot of things to do in my games but i personally found the battle system to be to much. Having to move the main character around the screen with the stylus, Performing attacks for him, Remembering how to perform the attacks of the Pins you have equipped, Then trying to remember to do the other characters attacks is just to much. Not only that the second characters attack are performed rhythm game style and i hate those types of games.
Story- Not a bad story in general but it doesn't make up for an art style and battle system that are very uninteresting to me.
So like I said I think a lot of people are going to like this but i personally couldn't stomach it for more then the 3 or 4 hours I gave it. Though i will give props to Square-Enix for trying to grow there IP catalog and innovate the genre.

The reason why Atlus took out the region free feature is probably because a Euro publisher wanted to pick the rights up for release. As you can imagine, they probably weren't okay with it being region free, as that could have killed a lot of the European sales.

I beat it a few days ago, but now that I hear about this "Key to the City" contest where you win a free $25 prize if you get 100% before the 19th I've been doing little extra things. God I am lamenting the idea of finding all those pigeons. Other than that, I've been pleasantly surprised by the game. I disliked all the previous GTA's and never bought one, so having this one surprise me by actually being fun was nice. In fact, I still technically haven't purchased one, the game was a gift from a friend.

I'm getting lost in Symphony of the Night (Dracula X Chronicles). It's been half a year since I completed it on 360, and I'm surprised that I don't know where to go now with the stuff I have.
But that's fun so I'm having a good time.

Don't know. I never played the demo.

The demo was cool, but it's nothing more than a glorified flash game. I wouldn't pay money for it.

yeah, I'd say it does. $9.99 well spent. Lots of levels that actually make you think and they track your completion time for friendly competition sake. Plus user created levels you can have download and update when ever you play.

Echochrome (PSP) and Mass Effect. The prologue of ME was kinda boring, but i'm now amazed by the various alien design in the Citadel... it doesn't feel cheap like i feared.
I'm planning to buy a HDTV anytime soon so i may postpone ME to play it in glorious HD.

I'm constantly playing TWEWY recently, it gets pretty good after all. :) I also manage to play a bit of Etrian Odyssey and Street Fighter Alpha 3. Also spent the whole afternoon yesterday playing Soul Calibur 3 with my girlfriend.

When I read your post, i only saw that part and was like "WIFE BEATER!!!" Obviously, I would later read the rest about this happening in CoD4.
As for me, my Xbox has been working. I'm in chapter 5 of Jet Set Radio Future. I'm about 120 games done with my second Cubs season in MVP 2005. And I'm trying to actually score with Helena in DOA Volleyball. And for when I leave the house, I've been playing Pokemon Blue (why did I just find a wild Dugtrio 8 levels stronger than my party?!) and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

I finally plan to finish Persona 3. I played it nonstop the week it came out, and ended up burning out, but I've been playing it on-and-off the past few months. And (obviously) I'm currently addicted to GTAIV. Also, I'm playing through Mother 3.

I finally picked up R-Type Command, so...R-Type Command. I've also been playing a little bit of Mario Kart and Grand Theft Auto here and there, but I haven't been able to be completely drawn in to any game lately.
