I just downloaded DoReMi Fantasy (the sequel to Milon's Secret Castle) from the virtual console. This is an excellent platformer. I'm having lots of fun with it.
I was unaware that a sequel was ever made for Milon's Secret Castle. I may have to d/l it based on that premise alone (I actually enjoyed that game as a kid).

Just done the 6th mission on Front Mission DS. I found the game kind of challenging at first but I'm getting used to the game's system now. Although on the 6th mission I was on my 10th turn by the time I destroyed the last SAM Launcher so I was cutting it close. I'm expecting it will get a lot more challenging later on.

Front Mission is one of those games that just gets easier and easier as you progress considering you aren't totally retarded when upgrading...At least it was for me.

Beat P3 this past Sunday. Quite possibly the weakest ending I've ever seen. Probably not gonna bother with a second cycle since FES is just around the corner. Now I'm on Brawl of course, having a great time with it so far. I still kinda suck at it though since I haven't played since the original SSB so I'm pretty rusty.

Anyway, I'm still toiling away on Izuna Ni. Today, I kicked a pink werewolf's ass, the gods from the first game joined my band of thieves... and I found my way to another village. Still no clue what's going on. Damn you language barrier!

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates. The sprite-changing feature is really nice to have on a game, and it is nicely done here. Although, the Multiplay portion of the game (where you create your own character) is a bit disappointing. For one, I'd like to have a clock for gameplay time. Also, the feel of the Multiplay portion (with automated shops etc.) isn't on as grand a scale as the Story mode.

Picked up Izuna today only to realize that my game where I had gotten to the third dungeon had been erased by my younger sister (who is convinced that I gave her permission to do that *shrug* whatever). So, I'm restarting the game and am going to try to get into it as people really seem to like it and I think I just need to give it another go now that I have a better idea of the sort of genre it is. I did enjoy it when I was playing before but it was just such a strange game I don't think I was fair in my assessment. Well, wish me luck!

I defeated the Queen Ant in B12F, it was a pretty epic fight since all of the other Ant FOE's jumped in. I made it to B13F, and hit level 40 just grinding around the healing spring. I went back down to try my luck with the Golem, I just can't kill him, his defense buffs are just too consistent. Is there anyway to debuff those buffs without having to level up a new class? I could buy a bunch of TP healing items but man.. battle would take hours.

Best thing with Golem - either concede it's going to be a LONG battle, wait until your guys are much stronger, or just go with the new class 'cause he won't even drop his best item if you don't hit it a certain way.
I think I hit him up about where you are in the game. It took me exactly 1 hour and 23 minutes and the only satisfaction I got was out of completing the Quest for him, which wasn't bad either, but to learn that I'd have to come back later anyway.... LOL

I think I hit him up about where you are in the game. It took me exactly 1 hour and 23 minutes and the only satisfaction I got was out of completing the Quest for him, which wasn't bad either, but to learn that I'd have to come back later anyway.... LOL
My general level? I can't quite remember to be perfectly honest. I DO remember having to level up some more before I could take out that Ant boss. So I think it was right after that that I went to take out the Golem, but it could have been a floor later. I'm not sure to be perfectly honest. I DO know, though, that the quest was in my list for a while after receiving it. But I definitely had not reached the next stratum.
Since he was level 40, I'm going to say that was probably my general level. I think I was still in the 30s when I tried to take out the AntFOE.

How is that "ring of fates" game? I've been debating on whether I want it or Shiren. But I don't want it for it's as bad as the first. Well, the first wasn't "bad" just... boring after about six hours of playing.
Master Zombots

I felt that Ring of Fates was overall an excellent game; however, it did have some faults. For example, I've heard that glitches often occur during the multiplayer, which I haven't tried myself. Also, I would have liked a gameplay timer for the custom character creation portion of the game, as it is probably my favourite section. This is not because the story is of a low caliber though - it is great as well. Another issue that I found was the annoying use of the stylus. It is used to move about the lower screen to take out magicites and switch characters. I would have much rather had a button-based system.
On the contrary, the game had many awesome features. First off, the detail and accuracy in which the sprites change as you equip various items to the characters is simply stunning. Also, the scenery and combat (magic and mêlée) graphics are amazing, as they are in most Square Enix games. As I've said, the story is nice, and the voice acting complements the characters well. Ultimately, I think that it wouldn't be a bad choice at all to purchase the game.

Front Mission DS also does it.
You don't need the Ronin's skill, I used the Dark Hunter's Climax, which always works and kills anything with under 20% hp at level 10. Its awesome for all of em Insta-kill required items and it saves you from wasting the points with Ronin.

Huh, that is interesting, but in order to get climax to work, you still need to have the Golem under 20% -- That would have been quite the task with the party I had level wise. That and I don't care too much for DHs. Interesting though.

Frankly the game was more challenging with Nero than it was with Dante, I guess Iam either just too used to Dante and not Nero, or its simply cause Dante is that much better. Probably a bit of both. I havent tackled Dante Must Die mode yet, I wanted to play Heaven and Hell mode first but its kinda boring killing everything in one hit, still a great way to get orbs I suppose.

Finally went back to playing Wild Arms 5. It's gotten a bit better from where I left off, it just starts real slow. I'm at Twelbit at the moment. Also, got Ninja Gaiden DS Thursday and beat it on Normal earlier today. Really cool game, I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes action titles.
However, listening to Aesop Rock makes me want to replay Jet Set Radio Future for some reason. If JSRF had the custom soundtrack feature I probably would...

Still playing Yggdra Union.
SPOILERS
I just got to the part where you have to hold off Gulcasa from entering the Holy Land. I have a question, is Gordon supposed to die? Because he ended up biting the bullet on his second turn defending the bridge.

Is that the old knight guy? It's been over a year, but no, I don't think so. In fact, I think you have keep him alive. At any rate, his death isn't in the script.

YGGDRA UNION SPOILERS
That's strange, he kinda died on me (slain). From the looks of it, even he does survive the battlefield he kinda just disappears from the game.

I beat Crisis Core, wasn't worth the $40 so I'm glad I borrowed it.

Condemned 2, trying to beat it ASAP so I can trade it for this game my cousin wants (Army of Two, gah). I've actually been making good progress in (first person) games lately. Beat HL2 E2, and RSV2, and I've been beating quite a few of the terrorist hunt missions with my nephew, nothing like a good ol' co-op game for family bonding!
I'm also playing Kane's Wrath...

I love Ninja Gaiden DS. I can play it left-handed and not have to worry about a break-out in carpal tunnel/tendonitis. wh00
