It's been long overdue. The patch should be coming soon, folks.

You can see some pictures at this website. There are some cool surprises planned for the release, too!

Glad to be of service, Sickle!

And well, well! Looks like somebody rated this two stars... Cute.

Awesome. Looking forward to this!

Is this one much different than LB1?

PFV:

1. The storyline actually makes sense. (It's also more serious than parts 1 or 3.)

2. The controls don't "slip and slide" like Last Bible 1.

3. Talking is more randomized, so there's no longer only "one correct path through the dialogue tree."

4. Talking is done in "real time," which basically means that if you take too long to answer, the enemy might ask a different question, walk away, or get angry at you for stalling.

5. You can see the character art in the stat screen. (Previously, you could only see an character's art when you battled or fused it in LB1.)

6. The other characters still play a role in the story after they join you.

I like it a lot more than LB1... But I only played Atlus' "Demon Slayer" translation. I think that if you're interested in the Last Bible series at all, you will be quite pleased with the game.

The patch should be released fairly soon. I guess it'll be out within a week.

The patch is out, folks! There's a trailer to watch, too...

And a contest, if you're interested!

The walkthrough thing is actually a contest? xD

I would make one, but I'm not good at going too in-depth with things.

EDIT: Also, did you change the opening screen (with the LB2 animation)?

Last Bible 2's cool new English title screen wasn't drawn by me. It was done by "Prez," who may or may not have had help from someone else. It is inspired by the font that Atlus used for "The Demon Slayer," but it was remixed to spell out the true title. :)

And yes, whoever makes a full walkthrough based on this version of the game will get a special reward, because the guide that is there now has spoilers, mis-translations, and does not include any of the color exclusive content.

I would like a good guide to go with the game. :)

EsperKnight worked hard to complete the technical side, I worked hard to fix up the script, and my buddy "CoffinofTurk" worked hard to put together a really fun trailer. I hope that people will join in with the creative process and join in the fun with LB2. I think it's one of the under-appreciated MegaTen games.

Just a few months ago, Atlus released a new cell phone game called Megami Tensei Gaiden - The New Testament: Last Bible 2 -The Gospel of Beginnings- in Japan. (Hooray for long Japanese titles!) It is a totally original story in the "New Testament" saga (cell phones only). It actually is not connected to Last Bible 2. It's a totally new story! Although that will obviously only be available on Japanese cell phones, I think it goes to show that the Last Bible is still a viable series for Atlus.

Perhaps one day, we will see a Last Bible IV on the PSP, or something. I sure hope so!

If it's anything like Last Bible 2, a Last Bible 4 for PSP or DS would be great!

Oh, I see. A patch "for" copyrighted material is against the rules? I thought you said only links "to" copyrighted material were against the rules. :(

Well, that's depressing.

I don't think google search terms are against the rules!

I should think it's less "against the rules" and more "We don't want to get in trouble by accident". There've been some Cease and Desist letters recently for patches like that, so I'm thinking they're just coverin' their tails.
