I dunno, was this really a reprint? When Nocturne and DDS1 were reprinted they were available for months (DDS1 is still available). P2 wasn't available for long, seems odd to do such a tiny reprint.

Granted, the demand for P2 was still high enough to sell it out very quickly, but outside of that niche market of Megaten fans, it'd be harder to sell it to the average consumer who wanders into Gamestop (especially given that they don't sell PS1 games there anymore!).

I'm still mad I didn't get a copy since it happened while I was at work and the Atlus Fathful came a bit late for me so how was I supposed to know. Hopefully there is a PSP rerelease.

At least, that's how it worked out in my area. Nocture was marked used for $50, but was brand new.

I heard and have seen the same. The reprints don't have memory card holders and I see them marked as Used for $40 or so... depressing.

I was lucky and found Persona 2 complete at an EBGames in the mall a few years back. I begged my friend for the $30-$40 and keep forgetting to pay her back ><;

As a fan who wanted a copy at the time it came out I was sad to see it sold out before I even read my email. If I had my way I would be more than happy to give them a virtual kick in the groin if that is true.

As a person who understands our capitalist system, I give them a hearty golf clap for a job well done. And then kick them as mentioned above.

I will probably never own the first two unless I happen to get lucky at some point. Someday heheh someday. I'm a fan but I'm a fan with certain limits. My family and livelihood come before my hobby. :D

It was gone within a few hours of that announcement, though, so anyone who happened to be at work or afk for the afternoon got boned.

Unfortunately I highly doubt such a move, I believe the most they would do with persona 2 is port it over to the psp most likely with both chapters (eternal punishment and innocent sin) If you starked with persona 3 then P2 is a lot different from what I heard about p3. There are no S links and it works with rumours though it's a excellent game none the less.
