Persona 3 FES Discontinued?

I bought a copy from Gamestop the other day, New of course, but the disc was so scratched up... so I complained.

The manager was nice, and even looked for a sealed copy, but he said they were discontinued so he had to drive to another store just to get the copy for the store to replace mine...

To be honest though, I'd expected it when Amazon.com had them for $15 during Christmas, what surprised me was they had Persona 4 and Eternal Poison both also for only $15 during Christmas time, and Arcana Heart for $12...

Just picked up another copy for 14.99

Gamestop i went there the other day for overlord 2 and i saw it there at the "clearance" price of 14.99 still they only had 2 left so i dont know if they r just clearing stock room or if its getting discontinued <-- if that were the case that is sad for all the people who have not had the chance to enjoy this wonderful game.:mad:

Gamestop's website is showing $13 used/$15 new but unavailable online. Amazon's showing $20. I don't know about discontinued, but it's unlikely Atlus has been printing new copies for a while now. They're not terribly rare yet.

At the EB Games here in Canada, FES is still at 29.99 O.o

But yeah, it's kind of hard to find in store, although to be honest it's not like I've been looking for it. Luckily for me I picked it up on release date back in April 2008 ^^

...A month after I bought the original Persona 3 for 50.00. Just one single month difference between both games for me X_x

they have the original Persona 3 for $30 in game stop where I live... And Persona 4 I think is $35.
