Demo!

So, has anyone played the demo on the Nintendo Channel yet? I'm off to play it now; I'll edit this post with my impressions soon. Can't wait! xD

I was waiting for the official thread before posting that I wish I had a Wii!

Maybe, if I have time, I will head over to my parents' house to play it. I really want to! This is me being excited!

It was really cool. The game mechanics seem awesome; Real Time Strategy, Turn-Based Strategy, Shoot 'Em Up...I can't wait to play the full thing. The only problem is that you couldn't play a full on battle in the tutorial.

Played demo. Can't help but think later levels in the actual game will have you trying to issue commands while in the midst of a bullet hell shooter. The enemies in the tutorial were firing a lot at any rate, albeit slowly and in straight, never-moving lines. So maybe I'm exaggerating a bit.

Went from passively interested to considering pre-order.

I was fairly interested in the game before, and while I was browsing N4G I saw that the demo was up and thought I'd try it because I was bored. I loved it. I think I'm going to pre-order it some time soon. :D

I wanted the first two stages as the demo. But then again, this is the kind of game where you actually need to know what's going on so I understand why they just gave the "First Steps" tutorial. Still waiting for June 2nd, extra patiently

Interested in the game anyway, but the Tutorial wasn't all "ooh, ahh..." as I had already seen the mechanics off IGN. I'm sure the game's gonna be fantastic, though...

I agree; it seemed really fun :) a good game that'll take plenty of time to master
