I would like to see this game released in the US either console versions would be great (PS3/XB360). Both the previous titles reached English shores but doesn't look like Capcom are interested in this one.

They have a couple of trailers on there site. Looks like a nice improvement over the second title and I can never get enough of Acquire Samurai action.

Spike did bring up the possibility that they were making a 360 version for a (I'd guess simultaneous) western release, hopefully it's announced soon.

I love this series of games. The 3rd one and the PSP port of the first one need to come out over here!

I loved the first game in the series and I'd be excited to see this one come over.

I played the other two games and found them interesting enough to absorb forty hours or so of my time cutting yakuza and ronin to pieces, so I definitely support this.

My friend would definitely get this, he's always looking for a good game on the next gen systems. I don't have a PS3 or 360, but if I did I'd definitely pick it up, I love all of Acquire's games.
EDIT: Actually if I had a PS3 I'd just import it
EDIT 2: I finally got my hands on a copy of WotS2 and now I'm really curious about the sequel.

I would buy two copies of this game if you brought it here Atlus. No joke, one for me and one for my girlfriend.

I went ahead and imported the game, and I absolutely love it. I don't think it'll be picked up by Atlus, though. Acquire has an English website up right now, and they're apparently already working on a US release. No publisher listed though.

That site also shows Zipang which I doubt i being released in America. Its just a English version of there Japanese website. Taito has one too.

Well, it says that, but you've gotta think. If that was for the Japanese, then why is the game listed as In Development? Also, the website was established quite recently, too!
Besides, their Japanese site has a lot more listed than that english site.

Some companies usually slack off big time on their English sites. Genki was the same way: http://www.genki.co.jp/en/games/index.html
As you can see, the games they list don't necessarily have anything to do with an American release. It even says Chain Reaction's US release date is TBD, but it never came to the US (although it did get a Euro release).
Either way, I hope if it comes to the US it gets a 360 release as well because I can't afford a PS3 just yet hahaha.

Doki Doki Majo Shinpan also had an English web site, and I'm still waiting for it to come over.

Sorry guys. But UFO, company that's also doing Raiden IV stateside. Will be behind this game as well.
Speaking of budget publishers… you won’t believe who picked up the rights to Way of the Samurai 3. UFO Interactive will release Spike’s conversational samurai game in North America for $49.99 sometime in the future. (Thanks for the tip Hero of Legend!!)
Way of the Samurai 3 is only listed as an Xbox 360 game on their site even though a PlayStation 3 version is out in Japan. Maybe UFO Interactive isn’t a licensed PS3 developer yet? No word about the downloadable content that lets you dress your samurai as a spartan and in cardboard box armor either.

Way of the Samurai 3, PS3 version. Publisher is listed as Agetec. Could just be a random mixup, though.

Here's the official news by UFO that they will be doing WotS 3 (for 360): http://www.ufointeractivegames.com/details.asp?k=2447&p=xbox360
I just hope the people that translate it aren't the same ones who translate stuff like "Ultimate Shooting Collection".

It makes me happy knowing I can just get the US PS3 version, since that's what I'm used to.

I'm going to one-up this thread with another request. UFO does NOT have the rights to the PS3 version and last I checked Agetec had a forum post stating they DID have the localization rights to the PS3 version...
...but nothing on the PSP remake. PLEASE pick this up Atlus...please?

I second that! So far, no news of US version coming out. Atlus please bring Way of The Samurai Portable (PSP obviously) to the US.
And the second one is coming as well.
